ka202
Nonsense. Studs were up but he didn't go in to stamp. It just ended up being worse that it should have been as McMullan just got there before him, and had for some reason decided to slide in instead of stay on his feet. Come on now, he could easily have lifted his foot or jumped over him, he chose to come right down on his leg.
Daydream
United the better team here.

Why exactly did Magennis have his studs up? If McMullan had stayed on his feet and still won the ball as you suggest, he would have got Magennis' studs in his ankle rather than his shin. It was a dreadful challenge by Magennis, and the attempts to blame McMullan despite the fact he won the tackle cleanly are ridiculous.
Alert Mongoose
I support Hearts - I am in expert in bad football games. This is a bad football game. I'm quite enjoying it because we are playing OK. Can see why a neutral would think it wasn't great though.
1320Lichtie
The St Mirren fans, holy f**k. [emoji1]Next game on tv will be rated 18 and on after the watershed.

Mark Connolly
Good to see Scott Fraser on TV form rather than recent form.
Lex
HT 0-0Not any good from either team, hopefully no neutrals are spending their Friday evening watching this nonsense. We have the best goalie in the league to thank for keeping it 0-0, fantastic penalty save from the Ginger Ninja.Apart from that, plenty of huffing and puffing but no quality on show. Conditions playing their part, probably.Either side could win, hopefully us. 0-0 the most likely though.

sydney
Boooo. Rank rotten game. Feel sorry for those who went along on a freezing night expecting a good game. Dundee United the better side but not by much. Never a penalty.

ArabFC
Did Paul McMullan teabag the wives of every 10th St Mirren fan at some point? I'm not sure what else would explain the vitriol being screamed at him - quite weird. Still on the topic of McMullan - as soon as I saw him standing over the penalty, I thought why? This was followed by the very definition of a shite penalty - perfect height for the keeper, slightly to one side. Still, we look the better side. Granny Danger
Don’t think either team deserves to be ahead. Two shit penalties in two games. Harry Lewis or Mark Durnan next penalty taker.
EpicMike
Hugely important game this. Both sides need to top the championship as they clearly have no chance of beating a premier team in the play off final. Terrible stuff.

Hawk
Gav missing and Smith and Morgan (odd flashes apart) don't look half as threatening as they were last week. 0-0 all over it.
Gareth_Glasgow
Shocking game so far, United are the slightly better of two shit teams. Our midfield has been anonymous apart from McGinn. Davis and Liam Smith are both looking shaky.

sergie's no1 fan
Really poor game. We have been rank, United look the better team. Lucky Magennis wasnt sent off too.Reminds me of the game at Tannadice, too many long balls to short arse attackers. If we are going to go direct play Sutton.Surely we cant be as bad in the second half.
