The lad is a quality player and it’s a shame his move to Hearts didn’t work out for him. Had he been given a run in his favourite position then who knows what might have happened. My Jambo season ticket holding workmate certainly rated him as did many other of their fans.
If he continues to play well and score goals this season then bigger clubs will come knocking. When they do I wish Gav all the best and I suspect he will be in a far better position at his age now to take the opportunity with both hands......or should that be feet?!!

I didn't think Brownlie pulled out of the challenge.

I just think he totally misread the situation.  He shouldn't have come across for that ball at all because Reilly was always getting there ages before him.  He should instead have covered the space Reilly burst into, rather than commit and thus sell himself.

It was a bad misjudgement.
