Ross needs another season to prove he is up to a job like Aberdeen.  Barry Smith did remarkably well with Dundee when they were in crisis, and did precious little else.

St Mirren looked absolutely doomed last season, and it was some turnaround, but our absolute implosion played a part in St Mirren finishing 8th.  Even one point away from home, rather than losing all of our 2017 awau games would have seen us finish above them.

Considering after 14 games we had 7 points and Raith had 23 overtaking Raith was some feat was it not? And considering the same players he brought in are now competing for the Championship title would indicate he knows a decent player when he sees one and gets the best out of them.

Nobody is saying that he hasn't done a good job so far, but it's early days in his managerial career and the gulf between managing St Mirren and Aberdeen is massive. There's not a chance in hell that he'll get the Aberdeen job on the back of such a short spell in charge of a club that were punching well under their weight.

I hope there is not a chance in hell and he stays where he is. I was responding to the Raith supporter who did not seem that impressed with his record. Jack has achieved nothing so far. Once he gets us promoted then I expect the vultures to hover.

By attacking and playing to our strengths and not being feart of the opposition.

By playing Shinnie at left back and dropping Considine

By sending that erse Ball back from whence he came

By selling McLean

By giving the youngsters more of a chance.

Ross is the boy for me, what would he bring to our table in your opinion?

Nae luck !
