sjc
Olives are fucking sensational. I have a distrust of people that don't like them and suspect they're OFTW.

Funnily enough I caught the bairn watching On the Buses on YouTube for some bizarre reason the other day. I used to mix a jar of pimento stuffed green olives, sun dried tomatoes and jalapenos. Fabulous menage a trois! ETA : Drained obviously and very coarsely chopped.

Cerberus
I don't mind stuff like pasta being cooked with olives or olive oil but actually eating olives is minging. Like heavily salty grapes.
Hedgecutter
Mushy olives just past their best and soaked in brine are rank and I can understand why folk would be put off for life. However, the fresh giant ones at peak ripeness from market are the absolute damage.

The olives (no brine thankfully) are finely chopped, mixed with garlic, olive oil and herbs as well as capers and branded as "bruschetta". Sensational on hot toast to be honest. Granny Danger
The conclusion that I’ve drawn from this is that some posters on here like olives whilst others don’t.
