Top 50 Most Hated Players To Have Played In Scottish Football

Or James Grady

Don't worry, he'll definitely be getting a vote.

Surprised at the lack of Dainty Saintees so far, always thought the likes of Liam Craig and Steven Maclean were considered c***s, Paul Paton being mentioned a lot is not surprising

I've sent my list and don't mind sharing. My memory is probably full of names that haven't quite reached the front of my mind so I've probably missed a few obvious ones but the list I gave was -

1. Neil Lennon

2. Paul Gascoigne

3. Nacho Novo*

4. Scott Brown

5. Chris Sutton

6. Jim Goodwin

7. Josh Falkingham

8. Steve Fulton

9. Gavin Gunning

10. Lee Miller

*For his Rangers days rather than Dundee days. That means not a single Dundee player on the list and two United players!

Probably going to show my age here with some of the names but here's a few random selections from my own 'hate' list:

John Martin

John Pelosi

John McDonald

Andy Willock

Alex Beckett

Paul McGrillen (until he came to Firhill)

Chic Charnley (until he came to Firhill and became a hero)

Kevin Muscat

Joe Cardle

Damian Casalinuovo

Nacho Novo (saving the worst to last. Loathsome with Raith Rovers, Dundee and rangers)

1. Vladimir Weiss. Taking pride in being openly sectarian is abhorrent and he did that in spades.

2. Gary Caldwell. I'll never forgive him for injuring David Fernandez, he was never the same player on his return from injury.

3. Barry Ferguson. King ned.

4. John Hartson. Horrible player whenever I saw him come to RP.

5. Nacho Novo. Absolute rat

6. Steven Pressley. Severaly disliked him whenever I saw him against us and I can't be the only one.

7. Chris Sutton. Need I say more?

8. Sasa Papac. Anyone who becomes lionised by the moron element within the Rangers support is fair game in my view.

9. Craig Burley. A moron.

10. Marco and Flávio Paixao. Basically the same person, aren't they? Their Jedwardesque antics endeared me none to their cause and I shed no tears when they left.

No real order to this, but...

1. Nacho Novo. Nothing else needs said.

2. Neil Lennon. Same reason as above.

3. Bob Malcolm. Utter fud.

4. Paul Paton. Could almost ignore him if he had any footballing ability.

5. Fernando Ricksen. f**k his illness, he was a c**t.

6. Jackie McNamara. Mainly for his management career, but still a fanny when he was a player as well.

7. Dougie Imrie. All scum, no ability.

8. Scott Brown. Following in Neil Lennon’s footsteps.

9. Keith Lasley. Likes to kick folk.

10. Ryan Stevenson. The guy is an utter fuckwit. I just pretended that he wasn’t wearing a Thistle top when he was playing for us. So did he.

Bert Konterman. Utterly inept wage-thief.

Daniel Prodan. Wage thief. May have been competent but we never found out.

Tommy Burns. Poor manager and a sanctimonious p***k.

Jimmy Johnstone. Alky wife-beater and failed sailor.

Bobby Murdoch. Thick clogging b*****d.

Andy 'look at me' Webster.

Ian Black. Failed bookies' runner and all-round bell-end.

Jim Baxter. Pished away immense talent.

Willie Miller. Shite manager and a dreary, smug c**t.

Steven Pressley. Serial footwear offender.
