Mattmc
Weather not as clever overnight. Bit of ice about this morning. Showers forecast the rest of the day.
tuckersloan
Fair bit of rain overnight and coming down again just now. Should clear up this morning but its also to rain heavy this afternoon - could be touch and go as been a fair bit of rain throughout the week too. Blue1870
Passes at 10 when there is snow and ice on it. Then fails at 2pm. Luckily i didnt travel. Although some of our far travelled fans had and obviously rovers fans. Cant have helped with brora at home last week then i think the under 20s were on it during the week. roy of the rovers
They’ve no consideration for us travelling fans. A brief sample of the delights Stranraer has to offer and then back off up the road.
tuckersloan
These things can happen - but its usually when the weather gets worse. The picture I took at the ground was taken at 11.15 am and the weather hasn't took a turn for the worse since then. It was clearly unplayable at that point in time and would have took an awful lot of improvement for that to change in time for kick off. The hailstones came in between 9.15 and 9.45 so if the pitch was inspected at 10.00 the damage would have been done by that point. I stay a few hundred yards from the ground so no big deal but feel sorry for anyone who travelled - think that could have been avoided.
Vodka Vic
Total contempt for the fans this decision-that’s both sides as I know a lot of Stranraer fans are based in the central belt. Good job the Rovers supporters never ran a bus.
Bold Rover
Greetings from Morrison's, Stranraer. Bacon toastie is delicious and reasonably priced. Effin knew this would happen.

Chris_the_rover
I heard a rumour in the pub it was a buisseness decision from the club as they had ppl in hospitality at £65 a head and didnt want to have to give them money backApparantly the game against raith there were a whole load in hospitality and they couldnt afford to knock them back
Cairn Terrier
Sounds legit. Referees call games off, not clubs.
