largo
Halving the ticket price doesn't come close to doubling the gate. You just get the same hardcore support going along but paying less.

Their average so far this season is 1,490. If they are Mickey Mouse, god knows what that makes Junior Football.
HonestMan1988
Quite amusing that some fans of Senior teams coming on here are taking a view about lesser opposition that they slaughter Old Firm fans for. Good luck to Glenafton, a huge task to get anything from the game but give it a go.

You just get the same hardcore support going along but paying less. Mugging people for whatever price you can doesn't wash either. How about charging a fair price instead of screwing those who are passionate about watching their team. Both Livi and Glenafton board and committee know its a one off for Glens fans and they'll turn up in big numbers no matter what the price is, so both clubs are complicit in setting the admission price

Believe it or not, the vast majority of "working men" who watch football in this country, do that on a Saturday at the Seniors. Motherwell fans own their club, Hearts fans are about to own their club, Killie are just about to get a fan rep on the board, Dunfermline are fan owned etc etc. I'd say that's making a genuine difference.
