Jmothecat2
Apparently the new defence secretary has a pet tarantula that he keeps in a glass box on his desk to intimidate MPs.
Jeff Venom
Also one of these types where it's pointed out that "his parents were Labour voters". Like it's some sort of indicator for being extra cunty or something.

Like it's some sort of indicator for being extra cunty or something. Well it is. Being a Tory is bad enough, but you sort of get it when it's some rich b*****d who was brought up to be a Tory. If it's someone with normal parents and they've decided through their own choice to be a Tory, that takes a c**t.

John Lambies Doos
Just watched newsnight. This thing is only going to get bigger over next few days. May is a weak sitting duck, another election looms and we in Scotland are still stuck with this shite. If only we could have chosen a different path............
Jmothecat2
It's just flat out cringeworthy for a grown man to be making ridiculous statements like that. Not really. To be a Tory you have to be morally bereft. To have that little compassion for other human beings is frightening. It's even worse when you come from a section of society that your new friends have fucked over for decades.

Jmothecat2
The Hopkins one looks pretty damaging for Labour. Whilst their response to this has been pretty good this is the second time this week that party officials knew about the allegations but just sat on them. With Hopkins he was promoted after the allegations were made, and hushed up. To hide them is bad enough, to promote him is worse.

Jmothecat2
Daily Mail have suddenly changed their tune. It was only yesterday they were talking about how terrible it was that women would dare complain about sexual assault.

MarkoRaj
It's the Daily Mail, this shouldn't come as a surprise. It shouldn't but it's still a shock to see that things like that are actually published and read by thousands of people in 2017. Would genuinely love to set fire to the daily mail building and all the people inside

Jmothecat2
The frightening, but again unsurprising, thing is how common those attitudes are. I had someone at work the other day talking about how suspicious it was that suddenly all these people are coming out with sexual assault claims, completely unable to understand how difficult it can be to report sexual abuse when it happens, particularly when your abuser is someone powerful and in your work place.
