Why? I'm not his biggest fan but he seems the sort who just loves playing football and is in good shape. He could still do a job for a lot of teams.

Is it possible that Kenny Miller may retire and go into Rangers coaching role?"

Post context....

What is the world record for being managerless? I believe that is now 57 days and counting at Greyskull. Omnishambles

Sigh. How many times? It's Snake Mountain, not Greyskull

I hope Murty does OK, he actually seems like a decent bloke in a very difficult situation not of his own making.

If he doesn't do OK though, if they begin to slide down the table, like out of the EL spots and out of the Scottish...will they sack him of just re-assign him to the U20s?  Or will they stick with him until May come what may...

Absolute coincidence that just 45 minutes beforehand a hugely negative story hit. Not deflection, nope, absolutely not.

Ha.....Jabba will have had that statement re Murty ready to hit the poodle’s e-mails long before noon today when the CoS decision was made public.
The Jizz Swallowers at BBC / Rectum etc will now focus on the Murty non-story, as directed by Jabba.

Given that it appears that Sevco don’t have a pot to piss in, I would think the likelihood of them shelling out serious money for a new gaffer is highly unlikely.
Murty with Kenny Miller as player/apprentice manager (the cheapest possible option) until the end of the season (cos this season is fecked)
and hope that something magical happens in between times - like Mike Ashley buying the club.
Better still, they could just dissolve into admin again and thereafter liquidation.

Ooooh......FP-Bet might have nailed this back in October...........[emoji41][emoji3][emoji56][emoji12]

If you read my posts about sevco you will find I mock them constantly, but for a fan of a club who appointed Fenlon & Butcher to do so leaves them open to be mockingly reminded of their own clubs shortcomings in their managerial appointments.

The point might be that The Rangers haven't actually made an appointment yet, never mind a wrong one.

The manager that finishes 2nd this year will be Rangers manager next season (assuming it's not Lennon) Murty finishes 2nd he gets the job permanently McInnes finishes 2nd there's 6 month less compensation to pay plus the boost to season ticket sales should ensure there is enough in the pot to pay it plus his wages.

Keep up mate.

Mcinnes doesn’t have the character concomitant with managing rangers

Based on what ?
Don’t confuse the alleged “Glory Days” of Oldco **** with the basket case that is Sevco Zombie ****.
Why would any manager seriously consider such a post ?
Today’s CoS news re KrimiKing is only going to make the club’s future more precarious, barring some financial miracle.

Unfortunately they've branded McInnes an averagy looking cocktease, so that bridge may be burned.

Money wasn't the issue with McInnes, Milne seemed to confirm Rangers could afford the compensation.

Fair play to any Rangers fan deluded enough to conclude, after the defeats to Dundee, Hamilton and St Johnstone, that Murty is anything other than a hilariously inadequate appointment.

With a limited squad the inexperienced Graeme has done fair enough, a few good wins over the form teams but slip ups against the so called !esser teams.

Not ideal but atleast he doesn't look like a tramp.
