JamieStevenson
SmackDown vs Raw comes to life again as we've reached the only PPV where both brands go head to head. Survivor Series will take place on Sunday November 19th 2017. It is of course a dual brand PPV following the 2 hour Kickoff Show and 4 hour Main Show format. For us that means a 10PM Kickoff Show and midnight for the Main Show. This take place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. It will be the 31st installment of Survivor Series since its introduction in 1987. Kurt Angle has announced 4 champion vs champion matches and 2 traditional 5-on-5 elimination matches. Confirmed Matches: Matt Hardy vs Elias (Kickoff Match). Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn vs Breezango (Kickoff Match). Enzo Amore (C) vs Kalisto for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship (Kickoff Match). Team Raw (Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Asuka, Sasha Banks & Bayley) vs Team SmackDown (Becky Lynch, Carmella, TBA, Naomi and Tamina) in a Women's traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match The Miz vs Baron Corbin. Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair. Cesaro and Sheamus vs The Usos. The Shield vs The New Day. Team Raw (Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe and Triple H) vs Team SmackDown (Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura and John Cena) in a Men's traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series elimination match Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles. NotThePars
That card is really highlighting how heel heavy the champions are. You've got the Shield and that's literally it.

forameus
So no titles on the line anywhere then? Struggling to see where there's going to be any heat on any of the matches without titles on the line. It's not like they're putting on dream matches like Finn vs AJ here to make up for the lack of stakes. No-one is going to care who wins between Miz and Corbin. Shield and Usos will put on a good match, but that's all it'll be. Brock is going to slap Jinder around for a minute, have him roll out, completely murder the Singhs then beat him with 1 F5. This is shaping up to be poor.
JamieStevenson
Shane O getting intense. Is he ditching the KO feud to lead his men's team vs Kurt Angle and his mob?
forameus
That's certainly what happened last year - everyone just ditched their feuds to line up alongside each other. Imagine we'll see Shane high-five Owens at one point before completely forgetting that the episode of Smackdown after SS.
JamieStevenson
The classic lets put our differences aside for one night patter and then they all turn on each other during the match.
DA Baracus
So who'll be the Raw and Smackdown teams? Raw: Finn, Bray, Bar, Show? Possibly could have Jordan or Matt Hardy in there. We're assuming Kane vs Strowman will rule those two out. Smackdown: Nakamura, Orton, Styles, Owens, Zayn? Suppose you could have Ziggler or Roode in there instead. DA Baracus
Also if we get any Kurt vs Shane moments then this should happen;
mizfit
Team smackdown: Chad Gable, Shelton Benjamin, Rusev, Bobby Roode & AJ Styles Team Raw: Matt Hardy, Jason Jordan, Finn Balor, Cesaro & Sheamus
forameus
I'd pop hard if Kurt responded by spending 3 weeks throwing Shane through real glass windows that he thought were sugar glass.
NotThePars
Owens and Zayn won't make it on the team then cost Smackdown the 5 on 5.
FifeArab
WWE looking for a special guest ref for Jinder v Lesnar. Austin, Rock and Cena the 3 mentioned.Rock cost’s brock and set’s up a WM match like they spoke about 3 years ago (more likely If Lesnar losing the title at RR to Reigns). forameus
I'd be amazed if Austin or Rock were involved, seems like dirt sheets getting a little over-excited. Probably Cena, if they even have a special ref at all. Miz is at it again by the looks of it. Corbin put up a promo via his phone, so Miz decided he needed to be cut down a wee bit. 55 seconds, and he's absolutely buried him in one swoop, ending it with "If you talk about by pregnant wife again, I'll knock your teeth down your fucking throat". He may have a face you wouldn't tire of punching, but he is the best they have at this kind of thing.
NotThePars
Maybe a dreadful +6 month reign by Mahal is exactly the thing WWE believe will get Cena's historic title victory fully over.

JamieStevenson
SmackDown team is shite. Kurt & Braun wouldn't even need any more team mates to beat that mob.
DA Baracus
I hope someone maims Shane McMahon so that we never have to suffer his dreadful attempts at being a wrestler ever again.
Jeff Venom
His SD promo to eventually arrive at "yours truly" captaining the team was a ten minute week-late snoozefest. I thought for a bit we were looking at a little depth being added to the story, with Sami costing Naka setting up a match between those two at SS, and KO and Shane being on the same team despite both seeing SD as their show and not wanting to look like dicks to the opposite brand/colleagues/McMahon family etc.But nope. We got Randy Boreton setting up the predictable Nakamura joining team SD and now KO and Sami will probably both just be in a huff for two weeks.
