Stirling vs LTHV

No idea what to expect from Hutchie Vale, on paper we should be beating them, but it is the cup so anything could happen.

What kind of support will Hutchie Vale bring through and do they have any posters on here?

They're a difficult team to judge as they boss most games in EOSL.

They have played 12 competitive matches this season, all wins, scoring 71 goals and conceding 12: i.e. their typical scoreline has been winning 6-1. As well as thrashing various EOSL teams they've won Scottish Cup ties against Kelty (East Junior champions) and Inverurie of HL, plus won an EOS Qualifying Cup tie at Gala of LL.

Their cup-tie record v HL and LL sides is formidable suggesting they'd be a top-end side if only they could get licensed and promoted. They beat Montrose away in the cup a few years ago and Berwick and Edinburgh City in the EOS Cup last season.

Agree on paper we should beat them, decent enough side from the East of Scotland League but we should have enough playing at home to beat them without Callumn Morrison who Hearts may not want to be Cup Tied.

Expect us to win by a couple of goals and march into the next round.

Can't see Hearts not letting him play, doubt they'll play him in any cup games.

Going by what the other posters on this topic have said we could be in for a tough game, although fully expect the team top of League 2 to prevail.

Given the form your in I would expect Stirling to win at home but they are a decent side and would probably be at the top end of the LL if they could get there.

We've been a little stuttery at home in the last few games being beaten by Clyde, winning against Annan despite being the poorest of the 2 teams for large spells of the game and chucking a 2 goal lead to lose to Elgin. Although, without meaning to sound big time, I still think this should be a comfortable afternoon.

Over the past few seasons, with a worse team, we have seen off Cumbernauld Colts and Wick Academy, who both play at a higher standard. No Callumn Morrison is s blow, but it gives others a chance to shine and maybe one or two of the fringe players will be given a run out.

If it was just about what's on the park Lothian would be a decent Lowland League side.
