I only came across it this morning, but seems like a handy app to have if you do a lot of travelling. Works well with Google maps if you set- up the widget or even just using the widget by itself is good. To enable the widget, open the TomTom app, then click on the icon on bottom right- hand corner of the screen. This will bring up 3 icons on the bottom right. Click on the top one and it will display the widget in the centre of your screen. Just drag the widget to where you want to display it. Best place with Google maps I reckon is top- right corner like so; The widget shows the speed limit, your own speed and alerts with a voice warning for speed camera's.
