How long should Robbo get until the board start to panic?

Recommended Posts

Crow  all you want but fact is that we've been in the Premier League and your team will never know that, you are the only Scottish League champions who have never played in the premier league, and you know what, that really feckin irks you, so you with your pissy little stadium will always remain a diddy club that nobody in football really pay's attention to, as in who gives a feck.
And chances are that one day we will return to the PL as did Hearts and Hibs and possibly DU or Dunfermline this season, so continue having your blue sky day out once in a while because that will always be as good as it gets for you.
Not one Caley fan slagged your team and to a man were gracious in defeat and accepted we were beaten by a better team on the day, and now you come on spouting such immature little man bile.

How can I just have noticed this now? It's absolutely marvellous.

G'woan Sandy m9. Let it all out.

No mention of St Mirren. Typical ICT with their billy big baws attitude.

You're just a mean spirited little man

In my opinion, Robbo has two games to save himself.  If we lose to Queen of the South he'll be on a sticky wicket, especially if the other results go against us.  The big one though could well be the Peterhead game a week tomorrow.  If we lose that, I'll reckon he'll walk - and that could well happen.

Absolutely no shock to see Robbo "wholeheartedly backed" by the chairman.

As many of us said weeks ago, we're in another situation where we have a manager that is backed by a major player on the board so unless Robbo walks he's not going anywhere. We saw the dangers of having a manager who was too "close" with the chairman with Foran last season. Can't help but feel this is similar.

I couldn't believe what I was reading with that article. The only hope is that it is generic media bullshit to cover up the mess Robbo has created. Can't help but feeling, as you have said, that it is going to be the same old story as last year.

Would love to know what excitement he has had watching us play this year.

Isn't that when managers usually get the sack, the minute the board publicly back them?

You're so feckin right, here's a chairman who worked for an oil service company not a major and with absolutely no footballing experience saying that despite the fact we have four points out of a possible 21, "The Board is still excited about what Robertson brings to the table".

What a feckin balloon!

It begs the question that if we had say eight points right now would that be feckin orgasmic from the boards point of view?

We have four feckin points, no one in the fan base is "excited" about that.

The board needs to take a long hard look at themselves if this is their 'Glorious Leader'.

Better still they need to take a leaf out of the way the RC board conduct themselves when it comes to team management.

I had my doubts that this merited its own thread but Im big enough to admit when Im wrong.

I also have serious doubts that ICT will ever play in the top flight again

There's not really all that much wrong at ICT - nothing that can't  easily be put right.

Basically all that's required is a new owner(s)  backed up with some serious cash,  a new manager, a new coaching staff,  22 players, oh, and a new stadium wouldn't go amiss.

Genuinely one of the best posts I've ever read on this site. Absolutely superb stuff.
