I get what is happening in that Alves has been banned and they plan to appeal but it just seems odd to refer to the SFA offering a ban to Alves. The compliance officer always "offers" a ban which the club either accepts or rejects. accept and it's routine, reject and they go to a hearing to argue against it. Standard practice.
