ICTChris
If my team had punted our manager after three games last season we may not have been relegated.
Jamaldo
It's not like they had another 34 games to recover or anything.

Distant Doonhamer
It`s a bizarre decision. They played reasonably yesterday and should have had at least a point probably all 3. If they got a point he would likely have stayed on. They still have the likes of Zaha, Loftus-Cheek, Sakho and Tomkins to get back to fitness so plenty of opportunity to improve things. That said they have no striker other than Benteke something that really should have been addressed in the window.
Bully Wee Villa
Their next four games are Southampton, Man City, Man United and Chelsea.Wonder who they'll get to succeed Hodgson after them?
booj1893
Makes it even more ridiculous when Steve parish tweeted yesterday that they needed to stick together as it's only been 4 games
7-2
I wonder how much de Boer has made from 162 days work at Inter and Palace.
MEADOWXI
He signed Sakho from Liverpool for £26M and Riedewald from Ajax for £7.7M, He was on a 3 year contract, which you have to assume they are going to have to pay off (even at a reasonable by EPL standards of £100K a week that is £15.6M for the 3 years). Even if he only gets half of that Palace are £40M spent and drafting in Hodgson to face after a home game against Southampton two trips to Manchester to face United and City. Turning into a basket case club and will be deservibly relegated.
Ivo den Bieman
a joke of a decision, really. Woy will come in and steady the ship but hopefully he gets a bit more time to do it in. The Palace chairman has to own this f**k up.
buchan30
Bit of a strange one. Wonder if the players were consulted? Maybe they haven't taken to de boer or his training methods. They played really well yesterday and had that look of, if they play like that the goals & results would come, especially with players due back from injury. List_of_Jericho
Joke of a decision, surely when they interviewed him in the Summer they knew it was going to take a bit of time to implement a whole new system. The attitude of Pardew summed it up yesterday with him basically saying that the players only know 'the Crystal Palace way' which consists of launching the ball up to a target man and hoping for the best. I hope they go down.

Even so, De Boer wlll get at least a season's salary, perhaps 18 months. My guess is that he'll get around £5 to £8 million. It's ridiculous to spend that amount on punting a new manager after only a few games. He should have got at least 10 games, especially as he has nor brought in many players. De Boer's reputation has been trashed by Palace.
