You deserve to be where you are also goof to see the locals out in force. You can reach ibrox quicker thanks  going to our stadium so respect anyone supporting their local team. Wish St Mirren were at least 50mls from Glasgow.

You wish that St Mirren were at least 50 millilitres from Glasgow?

Is he the big holding midfielder? Man of the match imo.

He had a very good game but how he wasn't booked in the first few minutes for the very late foul on Morgan beggared belief. That aside, he helped his fullback out every time Morgan got the ball

Ref too scared to mess with big Nathaniel. It was a fine trip on Morgan, no idea why it wasn't a booking.

It was obvious AJ wanted us to put a marker on him early bells. Ashcroft done the same in the first half. Morgan was quiet after that but did look threatening beforehand.

There was a pic early in the thread, showing just how small Kallum Higginbotham is. Still able to tower over the St Mirren fullback at the first goal.

I want to, and do, hate Higginbotham, but he's a great player for this level. I remember him bossing a game against us for Thistle a few seasons back, at a point when we should have been competing with them.

He has been excellent this year - must be something like 6 assists for him now.

Thoroughly deserved win for Pars. Out fought and outplayed us. We looked like we could cause some problems in the first half, but some dangerous moments came to nothing. We are reminded yet again that our defence has the potential to be our downfall, although the midfield did it no favours. The return of MacKenzie, Davis and Magennis can't come quickly enough.

Looking forward, we should have enough to get the points at home to QoS, although we'll be struggling even more in defence without Eckersley and Buchanan, both red carded on Saturday. The Eckersley one looked very soft - no complaints on Buchanan's.

Back down to earth with a bump, but life goes on...

To those questioning Eckersley's red, please watch the footage again and watch Eckersley's left hand. He clearly tries to gouge Splaine's eye. There is absolutely no place for that on a football pitch, this is a lot worse than an elbow and could have resulted in a serious eye injury. Dembele at Spurs was given a 6 match ban for a similar incident in May last year, yet you're arguing it's not even a red card? The linesman had a perfect view of this, and it looks like he was the one who made the decision.

Eckersley's retaliation can not be defended at his age and experience he should know  better. He has badly let down our club when we have key defenders out injured made worse with the second red card. It wasn't a bad day at the office it was a house of cards falling almost the same thing happened at Greenock playing one hour with ten men.

Don't think its as clear as you are suggesting to be honest. Hand was on his face, that is clear, but to suggest it's clear  that he tried to gouge his eyes is most definitely not!

The fact the Dunfermline player never reacted at all suggests that wasn't the case.

From the camera angle, its a soft one IMO but then again he was pretty stupid man handling him in the first place when there was no need to.

It wasn't soft; it was a clear red as per the rules.

They're only 2 points behind you and have Dobbie and Lyle on form

Agree , don't think some realise we will have a make shift defence with a total of 5 key defenders out on Saturday that's a huge number from defence. If we pull off a drew it will be a good result but fully expect Queen's to win.  Once we are back to a full squad which will be soon we will start to fly , I know you will not agree with that Saturday's game had no reflection on how we can play. Dunfermline , if you play like that week in week out will be hard to knock off the top of the table.
