Comparing everything to the single issue of Scottish independence is infantile.

I discussed the issue with Leonard (and John foster) back in 2004 and I can assure you their view of Scotland's relationship with Britain is not a right wing one. The communist party were advocating members (all 42 of them) to vote no.

I disagree with them, but don't make absolutely everything about the issue of Scottish independence.

A lot can change in 13 years.

I hope he does get the gig.  Only because Sarwar doesn't deserve anything other than a quiet slide into obscurity.  If he gets it he'll drag Labour even further into the gutter than they already are.
It's a crap choice that the Labour Party have, and even though I'm SNP, I hoped that they'd have been able to offer a significantly better one.

I think he might just be a bit of a corbyn puppet if he gets it (but could be wrong).

Sarwar is on a whole level of cuntishness all on his own. I think Leonard might promote some interesting economic policies that would make life uncomfortable for the snp leadership. Up to now labour haven't really flanked them on the left with any substance. It's just been Corbynista talk and Scottish labour throwing snpbad in when they could.

I can understand exactly where someone like Leonard is coming from regards nationalism - will be very much along the lines of dividing the working classes etc.

I used to believe that too - but given what a set of cvnts the working class in England have been - hell mend them I now say.

That Sarwar is a c**t is undeniable.  His biggest cheerleader being Jackie Baillie is proof enough of that.

Leonard seems to me to have started off with SNP bad and he'll take it from there.  Meet the new boss, Same as the old boss.

I'll be surprised if Leonard is supportive of trident, but I honestly have no idea.

Your point about the gmb not being particularly lefty wing is hardly a ground breaking revelation.

So,  if he worked for a merchant bank or a slavers boat it would be fine as long as he personally didn't believe in what he was taking money for.

I thought it would be obvious that I wasn't trying to produce a revelation about the GMB but to point out the hypocrisy of someone painting themselves as the second coming of Trotsky working for them.

You could almost say he talks left and acts centrist.

Pivoting to the slave trade is certainly one way to massively over-blow your point.

But not left enough to support 5.5million people freeing themselves from a right-wing government they don't, and never do, vote for.

Same as Corbyn.  A unionist first and socialist second.

Not sure that you need to be left-wing to be a Nationalist.  I'm socially left of centre, but economically right of centre.  Still a Nat!

I'm not sure how that's relevant to my post that you quoted.

Probably down to your generalisation that 5 1/2 million want freed from a right-wing government they don't, and never do, vote for.  If you want to tie these two things together then according to the most recent poll, the majority are happy with the right-wing government.

Independence should not be about left or right and everything about Scotland making our own decisions regardless of the current incumbents in No10.

Let's just state that pandarilla accused me of hating an entire football league on the basis of me not liking a refereeing decision. Yet that dick has the balls to accuse another person of over-blowing a point.

Did i Randy? What league was that?

I do apologise. I can go a little far during an argument but I generally to find common ground (honestly).

It was during the Man City/Monaco game. I had a go at a ref's decision against Man City and you accused me of hating the EPL as a result.

EDIT: Sorry. Against Monaco. That makes zero sense otherwise.

I didn't say that.

I also can't be bothered with you - so I'm out.

Ahh I remember that. I think I was aware that the majority of posters on here (or certainly on that thread) were on the other side of the argument - so I was a bit defensive.

Are there two posters with the same name?

You can claim pedantry, call me a c**t or whatever takes your fancy.  However you quite clearly did post what I attributed to you.  I am however not surprised that you want to disassociate yourself from it.

I. Can't. Be. Bothered. With. You.

There - I've repeated it for you.

Have the last word.  I'll be grateful to escape the usual week long war of attrition that you usually take to get it in.
