Doris superb, Denholm and Tob Little all pass marks, rest pretty poor, awful first have cost us, although had enough chances to get something, should of been about 20 minutes added on, thought Ref was poor for both teams

Thought Denholm was class. Ricky wasn't himself today in my opinion, Tam played well minus the incredible goal he scored. Hammy was well below his usual, Whatley done a job but I'd prefer seeing Gold there. Yule was ok really bad pass for the second, McCord decent, Linn very quiet and pretty poor, Swankie ok, showed some nice touches. Hutton had a bit of a mare.

Really not looking forward to seeing that 3rd goal again. Have nightmares over it, Jesus f**k.

Game should have been over at half time only inept finishing from Duggan and inept refereeing, denying Flanagan a stonewall penalty kept the score to 3!!!
Felt the wind starting to pick up near the end of the half and it really started to blow, in Arbroath's favour, in the 2nd half and they used it well, knocking long balls for Doris to chase, game did start to get a bit more derby-like, lots of niggley fouls and late challenges started to creep into the game and the referee obviously never had a clue what to do about it, he seemed to vary between not knowing the rules and making shit up. It's the only reason I can think off that explains how Hamilton stayed on the park for the full game, how Millar was booked for having his throat grabbed and then not sent off for making his own grab minutes later and how O'Brien wasn't sent off for his cynical tackle taking out Wilkie at the end of the game!!!
Anyway the good guys won, we're up to third and going into next weeks big game with confidence, Saul Goodman!!!

Oh and once again Kyle Wilkie proved he's far superior than Bobby Linn... just saying!!!

Three gifted goals in the first half done us although we had more than enough chances to have got something from the game,Defensively we seemed all over the place and Hammy had a bit of a mare today along with the keeper but up front we were threatening and the Fife keeper had 3 fantastic saves as well us hitting wood twice but you can't defend like we did and get away with it.East Fife also had their chances so can't complain, would've been a good game for a neutral to watch.

If Gold was fit to play and got dropped just to accommodate Whatley that is just not on as far as i'm concerned, not happy with that one little bit you don't find a place for a player in the team to the detriment of the team.

Thought Hutton was at fault for goals 2 and 3, the 2nd was saveable. He should have shouted to O'Brien to leave the cross for the first, don't think there was an EF player behind O'Brien in the box. You can't hand a team 3 goals and expect to take much from a game in league 1. But give EF their due, they were quick, controlled the ball well and got a lot of people back when defending and got them forward when attacking.

Would have preferred Gold at right back and Whatley in the middle of the park for a bit more bite there.

Doris was, as usual, best for us. Apart from scoring the second Denholm did a lot of running about but achieved very little. Bobby Linn hardly got a sniff of the ball, Swankie took over the invisible man role, Hamilton was poor and Yule had his poorest game so far but it is a bit of a step up from Highland league football to league 1.

Need a big improvement next week against the top team in the league.

Both teams were absolute pish playing against the wind.

O'Brien should've never been sent off. And if 15 is Miller he started it at the corner got booked for it. Then done exactly the same when Hamilton was running out the box on the way back to halfway after 3-2.

The only player that should've been sent off was him.

Obviously delighted with the three points. Over the piece a draw would have been a fair reflection, but we dominated the game on Tuesday and failed to take anything, that's the way the custard cream crumbles sometimes.

The wind certainly was a factor in the proceedings, picking up just before the break and making it difficult to clear our lines in the second-half. Some terrific performances after the break, particularly from Aaron Dunsmore (what a signing he has turned out to be), Craig Watson and Kieran Millar. Special mention to Ryan Goodfellow - okay a bit of a mix-up with Ben Gordon for Arbroath's first but some top drawer saves and good handling from him throughout. And what a strike from Nathan Flanagan, who also gave Hamilton a torrid time, particularly in the first-half...
