Amazing what a week and a half between the two games can do.

The Thistle that were excellent in the second half in the Betfred game were posted completely missing for almost all of the game today.

Can't really mind Mannus having to do much, apart from a decent save from one long distance effort.

Our goal was pretty sublime and Cerny made a couple of good saves...one particularly good one from Macca.

Happy with the 3 points, not the greatest game but we definitely managed it much better than the last half dozen or so Thistle games at McDiarmid.

Disgusted that the referees are continuing their anti-Thistle campaign, we wur robbed.

Ironic that we've strengthened our team since the 3-0 game and somehow managed to regress since then. Nisbett is the key to our success it seems :o

We were surprised and commented on the fact Nisbett was not playing today as we felt he caused us problems in the mickey mouse cup

Thistle number 4 was at it the whole game, and Thistle had/have the cheek to call us physical.

Who is that hooligan wearing a Thistle number 4 shirt anyway?

And why wasn't Cerny time wasting? Hamilton never won two games in a row 3-0 and 3-1 when he was with them.

That officiating today, fucking hell. Abysmal performance where the ref got nothing right for either team. It got to a point where he was just guessing every single throw-in. Complete ineptitude.

And that's not an excuse, btw. Colin Weir could have been the ref today and we'd have still lost 1-0, because we were stinking and O'Halloran is very good.

Meh.

Meh.

Ref had a good game, let it flow and kept his cards in his pocket despite a strong physical game. They will always get a few decisions wrong but nothing major today.
