Thistle only looked dangerous in the last 20 minutes or so, and it tells you everything than Sammon was arguably their biggest threat, though Erskine also got involved much more. For Saints, far from vintage, but a welcome 3 points. It was the most solid defensively I think we've looked so far. Two teams who seemed to cancel each other out for a lot of the game, setting up with similar formations. Scougall and Wotherspoon look to bring the ball down and aadd a touch of class for Saints, and O'Halloran always looks a threat. Davidson and Paton did a good job as enforcers getting on top of the midfield. Thought Anderson was very good today. He had one squaffed clearance late on, but otherwise was good.
