There's something familiar about this place. I think I stayed here for a spell last year.

I made the mistake of unpacking my case last time.

Am I right in thinking QotS started last season really well too?

Not that well - we could only draw with Dundee U in the first game.

Well you'll get a chance to improve on that next week.

Look, we've only got this place on a short term holiday let. So, go away, gie's peace and stop shouting stuff through the fucking letterbox.

The trick is to travel light.  I've only brought a few items -

A few bottles

Some reading material

and for the kitchen

Congratulations QOTS fans.

Be careful of any used needles that might have been left by the junkies that inhabited the place last season.

If you look at the prediction thread not one single poster predicted Queens to be champions. Most went for Dundee Utd and Falkirk. The latter in particular are miles off the pace.

Just shows how's unpredictable football can be.

Well done Queens though.

It doesn't really. First week tells you not much. You only REALLY know once everybody has played everybody. I suspect if you started another Champions poll right now still nobody would pick us, including all the Queens fans.

Anyway, since a trip to Tannadice next week makes it relatively unlikely we'll be back in here again I may as well make the most of it for now. Anyone called shotgun on the seat nearest the telly yet?

Is this a double whoosh?

Nope. I read it earlier without really concentrating and completely missed the sarcasm in Jimmy's post. I appear to have been whooshed.
