Bit of a gap in quality tonight sadly. We were missing McKay upfront which was a big miss. Newman in goal had a great game as did Hannah and McTernon. Hurlford finished the game rather comfortably.

Rated Meadow keeper highly last season when I saw him & McTernon will work hard. It will be interesting how things turn out with McKay. Daniel has always shown potential but has a bit passing problem - historically he struggles to pass a chip shop

Your keeper was excellent and got some great support from defenders on the line. McTiernan is quality and IMO is even better out wide which I assume is where he'll play when McKay is fit.

Our boys are starting to gel and seemed to enjoy the big park and excellent surface. Calum Watt was top notch and good performances from McKnight and Jenkins.

Best of luck for the season.

Could have been 6 or 7 if it wasn't for the back 4. The young lad in goals pulled off some top saves as well

Ah right your team wasn't good enough and if you play like that in the Super First you will get pumped!

Aye 7 names is a lot for a Darvel man.

He certainly looked like he would the way he was jumping out his dug out and screaming at the ref for every slight decision. Quite animated for a friendly so he was.

Anyway, that's the wee team out the way, on the Saturday now.

Mon the Vics!

You seem quite upset about a "friendly" result. Don't worry about it once your 7 players come back I'm sure yous will be fine and might even escape the play offs.

Well done for almost mounting a come back.

Great performance from us tonight was definitely worth getting soaked to the bone. Teams been looking great high pressure , high tempo. Heron shaping squad up good but still early days.
