Very true, I was trying to ease in nicely. The 3 stand gang, fresh from being pumped at St Mirren (lol) follow up with a home loss to newly promoted Livi.

An absolute gang.

But but but, big grant was injured, we are waiting on kojak coming back

Falkirk hahahahaha. The Grangemouth gang

Back in the fucking game!

The Amber Machine rolls on. No doubt it was Falkirk's worse performance since their formation or some shite like that. Just not on our level. Their fans are wallopers as well proper losing it by telling us to f**k off back to our lasagne stadium

Halkett strolled it luckily Real Madrid and Man Utd were in the super cup tonight so Mourinho and Zidane couldn't make it out to come see him play. Byrne was also excellent and was giving it yaldi to the fans after which was superb, what a hero.

Would quite like Celtic in the next round to finally decide the age old question of who has the best invincibles in the country Hopking or Rodgers.

That was a pretty awful game to watch at times. However, glad we won. Got to be the worst performance I've ever seen from a Falkirk team. They didn't look like they could be bothered. Particularly as the game wore on.

Thought Declan Gallagher was outstanding for us. Rarely put a foot wrong and always calm and collected. Would be nice to get a wee lucrative away tie in the next round.

Fantastic effort from the team tonight, very hard working and fit unit that all play for one another. Said it from the start of the season, we aren't going to be an easy team to beat.

Robinson is a good addition to the squad too, 2 goals in 2 appearances.

Chuffed to bits with that win. Looked highly unlikely given the pressure Falkirk were putting on us the last 20 minutes; after De Vita missed that chance right at the end of normal time, I expected Falkirk to kick on and control extra time to win with a bit to spare. I have no idea what Hopkin said to the players but you'd have thought the momentum at the end of normal time was with Livi, absolutely dominated ET and it should've been more if we were a little less wasteful. Also, shoutout to Myles Hippolyte, who showed all the boo boys in the Livi support how good he is by getting hooked off with "cramp" before he was sent off. Class.

No doubt our form will dip inevitably but it's refreshing to see a group of players so committed and emotionally invested in the club again. The fans are under no illusions that we've a limited squad, but we play to our strengths and our fitness is a wonderful asset, particularly in games like this. You could go back to TFS next Tuesday and Mullin and Pittman would still be running around the pitch.

Hoping for a money spinning away tie to cap this competition off for us. Realistically, we're not going to be able to beat any of the sides left in the competition so we might as well make a bob or two out of it. Although, if we get anyone other than Celtic, Sevco, Hibs or Aberdeen, it becomes a "what if?" Haven't felt that for a long time about this club so credit to Hopkin and the players for putting the work in to get us here.

Would love Luca back. Regardless to his form at Falkirk he was a very decent cb at Morton

Serious question, was Luca overweight when he was with Morton.

When we signed him I genuinely thought it was a great signing given the comments from Morton fans.

He has never looked fit for us and just doesn't look up to playing at this level.

Always good tae win in Grangemouth, pleasing stuff from a group of players who play for one another and the club, changed days :thumsup2

That was the difference last night. Livi looked like a team who battled for each other whilst we looked like eleven individuals who had just met each other. Some of them looked like they had never seen a ball before and others looked like they had ate a ball.

Well done on a thoroughly deserved win [emoji106]

Houstons press conference is laughable, no wonder fans don't like him.

Never takes responsibility for his own team when they lose, it's his failings that is letting Falkirk down, he's knows that and is trying to deflect it by saying shite patter about us playing long balls, pot kettle black comes to mind.

We played far more football last night than Falkirk did.

We worked harder, well drilled, played as a team and looked fitter all things Hoppy and the management team has installed in the team, all things a manager can make a difference with, maybe Houston could think about looking after his own house.

Your side were marginally less abysmal than ours, hence your progression to the next round.

To say that either team played anything approaching football is ridiculous.

You've saved us a serious pumping in the next round, so there is something to be thankful in that.

In fairness, most Falkirk fans have acnkowledged this on our thread.

Livingston well worth the win but I don't get the over the top reaction from their fans to an eye bleedingy bad game of football.
Organisation and fitness won through which is an indication of the shambles that Falkirk were again last night.
If the injury that led to Hippolyte being subbed was cramp then he and the coaching staff should be fined a weeks wages. Just not acceptable.

I'd quite happily watch us play like that every week if a. we win football matches and b. cause bumpkins like Peter Houston to froth at the mouth in a style akin to a dog with rabies.

In all seriousness though, it's a big win for the fans because it just emphasises the difference between this group of players and the one who went down to Stranraer and were embarrassed 15 months ago. Ironically enough, there's a few still here, including the manager.

Hard work goes a long way, that dedication is something we've not seen in a while.
