Stu
Pish until we scored then pretty good until Muirhead was sent off after which we struggled a bit. Muirhead did swing his arm at Stelios so a red was probably deserved but he did make the most of it. The sort of shitebaggery we usually suffer from so not complaining. The boy that came on for him was massive! Bout time we started with a win. That humping by Thistle might turn out to be a blessing in disguise as Ross has clearly changed things since then and over the piece it was deserved.
jimmy boo
Delighted with that result and performance today after the first 20 minutes. Good turn out from Falkirk fans too.
Kyle
This thread is definitely the place to be tonight, narrowly pipping the inevitable Dundee meltdowns. Dont let let me down, Bairns.
RossC93
Excellent start to the season after a nervous start. First half hour we were poor, the pace of Austin and Hippolyte had me thinking it was going to be a long game until Stelios became Stelios and from then, we didn't look like letting off; Falkirk shat themselves and didn't look like they wanted anything after that. Second half had the same passion and swagger we had at the end of last season; Felt Smith and Morgan swapping sides made a huge difference, Morgan had the big full back on toast all day long. Sutton and Reilly look as if they could form a good partnership up front with Smith, Stelios & Morgan pinging balls in from the wings. With Davis, Eckersley & Magennis plus another couple of signings to come, I think we could be in for a good season. -
PG.Colossus
Well that was absolutely shite. Agree with Bairnardo that Houston has got to take the blame for that.We started really well and Fash could and probably should've had a hat-trick in the first 20 minutes. It was like a continuation from the Inverness game where we were happy to let them have the ball and we would win it back and counter but then St. Mirren scored and we absolutely shat it and stopped playing. We were getting completely dominated in the centre of the park and were screaming out for Taiwo to come on at half time and help settle us down.Second half just continued where the first half finished and it looked a poor error from Thomson for the second goal. When Loy went off that's when we should've brought O'Hara on imo more pace on instead Miller came on and was pretty ineffectual. We had a few decent penalty shouts, I thought MacKenzie on Austin should've been given but we were completely outplayed and outfought and St. Mirren more than deserved the win.Was the red card for an elbow? Didn't see a whole lot wrong with it tbh. But the decision to bring Gasparotto on for Austin and then to move fucking Shepherd up front in his place what the f**k was that? Abysmal decision.Pass marks go to very few players Loy, Austin and Hippolyte who imo was comfortably our best player.Alex Harris gave us absolutely nothing, Kerr was shite, Joe McKee didn't get on the ball at all in that second half, Peter Grant was bullied by John Sutton all day and again Gallacher was very poor. Lewis Morgan was ripping him to bits and the first 2 goals both came from him not getting close to stopping the cross coming in. Absolutely spot on.
Bairney The Dinosaur
I'd genuinely like Houston to explain that final sub, only explanation is he panicked and threw somebody on. Up there as one of the worst managerial decisions I've seen.

If either of the two lads who were at the front of the stand absolutely screaming abuse at Samson and McKenzie after Shepherd went down then you might be in luck. Fucking seething they were. We had two raging mentalists in the home end as well howling abuse at Loy even after Stelios came over to calm them down. Fair play to the steward for not even bothering to turn round.

geo87
To be fair everyone around the idiot shouting at Loy was telling him to shut the f**k up. We really do have some cretins in our support
Shadwell Dog
We desperately need sibbald to find a club who will pay 200k for him pronto. We need at least two full backs and another wide option if we're going to do anything this season. Whilst sibbald would improve the side we need far more than him to make a go at the championship this season. flyingscot
The Bairns fans that were absolutely raging at Samson and MacKenzie were absolutely terrific. Don't think I've ever managed to be in that state at the football [emoji23]

spratte
absolutely telt the day. proved what's been said all summer we need tp strengthen both the full back positions but hey if thats what weve got to play with then anyone with pace is going to cause problems. i hope taiwo is still recovering and thats why he didnt start as kerr wasnt at the races and should have been hooked at half time. in the second half i with loy absent we really needed sibbs. hooking fash and leaving shepps on was a bonkers decision. and surely watson should have went to RB and luca in the middle. and after doing it all summer harris never hit the bye line once. saints played really well and deserved the win think the players and manager believed the hype as much as the fans and were all like rabbits in the headlights.
Senor Bairn
Thought we were class for the first 20 minutes then decided not to bother playing anymore lol (bants). What angered me the most from today was the final sub. Why not just bring O'hara on and go for it?Sibbs needs to get back fuckin pronto and get Kerr out of the side.Fair play to St Mirren they were the better team on the day. Your wee display at the start of the game was super dorky however hehe x
