If it was the same medda at Ashfield couple weeks ago you'd be as well as putting your money in the bin. They were honking

Do folk really put money on teams to win their leagues after seeing them in a pre-season friendly?

I guess some other folk will be piling it on after seeing us win the last two games 5-0 and 4-0 [emoji52]

Calm down? [emoji23] you're the one getting worked up about a pre season result.

As folk always say, results don't matter on friendlies. It gives the manager a chance to experiment with different tactics.

I ain't getting worked up sunshine just starting facts to the other poster that medda will not be 7/1 to win any league if they play like the way they did against Ashfield or even the way you played last season. Not a chance in Hell

At 5/2 Musselburgh athletic are a steal to win the East Region Premier League this season!

Even if there was handicap betting we would win by a clear 10 points[emoji23]so get your bets on now!

In fact do a double on Musselburgh to win the league and Matti King as top league scorer. Matti the mean machine!

Tell me I'm wrong Benny!!!

Have Musselburgh brought any/many players in during the summer break? If so, anyone well known in the Junior game? Also, there were several stories doing the rounds about Mussy's financial affairs last season - What's the script there? Enough in the coffers to fund a team that'll give Tranent a decent challenge?

Probably better bet to win a cup this year

they have a bigger support than most so have probably attracted a few quid in optimistic bets.

Mussleburgh haven't bought many players BU. Maybe the management team think they have enough players from last season, to do enough to get promoted back up to the Super League. I am going to have to agree.

We have 2 new signed players and a current trial, who if signs, will be a great addition to the team. A young guy called Bradley Whyte, who on seeing for the first time against Broxburn on Saturday looks a very good prospect. We have also signed Chris Gray for a 3rd time and as long as he stays out of trouble, is a good signing for us.

The one downside for me is that we have Ally( it's no my fault) Adams as no.1. We let our previous no.1 goal keeper go back to Nitten.A big mistake for me, But, then, I am not part of the management team.  Though, why we re-sign a guy who wouldnae get into my old BB football team, I will never know!

However, in Matti I trust. For every 4 goals that Ally Bally lets in, hopefully Matti and his team mates will score 5!

Mon the Burgh! See you in 2018-19!
