Cant think of anything worse than having it in the actual office. Ours is this Saturday and it's during the day which I'm happy with. Going out during the day is far better than at night. The other way of looking at it is that you get your work colleagues bit out the way at lunch time and free up the evening to go drinking with people you actually want to spend time with. Everyone piles in throughout the day. Next Wednesday we have our official piss up. Half day at work, before a meal (£20) but get all our drink paid for. Doesn't usually work out too bad, as everyone ends up toddling off in their own groups elsewhere. The only pub I can think of vaguely close to Ibrox is the Louden and I have no idea when it 's open. Have seen it shut when we attempted it from a Friday night but I've had a pint in there on a Sunday night before. I’d imagine the “sad b*****ds who have nothing in their lives barring bevvy and Rangers” market is there, which is why it’s open on non match days too. Good juke box though. Louden at Ibrox was the surprise, properly friendly when they found out we were doing sub crawl and a tray of sandwiches were provided. All the boys from my site meeting up in a pub then working our way down Perth Road into town.
