Abronhill High in Cumbernauld has Derek Whyte and David Smith of Dumbarton as former pupils. Also famous as the school used in Gregory's Girl.

Off the top of my head ....

  • Gordon Burns ... Host of Krypton Factor
  • Jim McDonald ... off Coronation Street ... can't be arsed looking up his real name
  • The guy who founded the Wetherspoons chain ... again, can't be arsed looking up the Brexit-campaigning p***k's name
  • CS Lewis ... he stayed 6 months and hated it
  • Gary Lightbody ... out of Snow Patrol. Nice guy.
  • Cardinal Richelieu ... French clergyman, nobleman and statesman

Campbell College? One of my work colleagues attended that school.
