Ta South Challenge Cup round 1 Saturday 16 th September round 2 Saturday 14 the October round 3 Saturday 11 th November. East of Scotland Qualifying league cup usually starts the season off. Prob last week July. It's a thankless job being fixtures secretary. LL now has bigger problems with Spartans and Edusport now groundsharing as well as BSC, Cumbernauld, Stirling Uni and East Stirlingshire. Season fixtures Canny be far away though bud. South Challenge Cup is: R1 - September 16th, R2 - October 21st, R3 - November 11th:http://www.southofscotlandfootballleague.co.uk/LeagueFixtures Alex Jack Cup is usually same weekends as Scottish Cup Pre2 to R2, which is the case with its counterpart competition in the SOSL according to SOSL listing. South & East Cup-Winners' Shield is Sunday 19th November according to SOSL listing. EOS Qualifying Cup is usually spread out. Last season the SPFL fixtures came out on Friday 17th June 2016, with the Lowland League's being announced two weeks later on Friday 1st July. There was an unusual situation in the EOSFL (so can't be used as an analogy for this year) with Duns' last-minute withdrawal causing a delay in announcing the fixtures and the season start being pushed back a week. So with this season's SPFL coming out 'a week later' on Friday 23rd June 2017, we will see whether it still takes the Lowland League a full fortnight to sort themselves out, which would be not until Friday 7th July, so the EoSFL fixtures wouldn't be released until after that, so less than three weeks ahead of the 29th July start. HibeeJibee Posted July 12, 2017 Share Posted July 12, 2017 HW Uni's effort: EDIT: Beginning reading it I notice that owing to cup draws, their first 12 matches may include Tweedmouth thrice, LTHV twice, Burntisland twice, Tynecastle twice and Leith twice , plus Ormiston once for some welcome variety . Listing on EOSL website indicates latter pair v Tweedmouth may flip-over to accommodate groundsharing - ditto v Tynecastle. Indeed the Tynecastle's will, as LTHV were drawn away v Kelty.
