Marseille have absolutely nothing about them, no one fighting for the ball or taking control.

They had a good first 15 minutes, in case you hadn't heard.

The couple of times I’ve seen him in the Europa league he’s been very good. No idea how he’s getting on in the league

He's been good this season, better from christmas onwards so a world cup pick could well happen If he isnt too badly hurt.

Marseille picked off at will like a plucky Junior team in the Scottish Cup there. That must smart.

They're also getting the same level of patronisation from the commentators and pundits.

"Their fans are winners."

"It just wasn't their night."

Spanish clubs now won 12 of last 13 European titles (including Super Cups) and have won at least one of the two major trophies in nine of the last 10 years. Dominance.

That is a direct copy and paste from someone's twitter account if I am not mistaken?

But yes, Spanish football is without a doubt having a golden age, and it is not just down to Messi and Ronaldo either, if anything they have only served to belittle the strength of the Spanish League in the eyes of onlookers

Barely noticed Costa was actually playing until he got out of the way of the through ball for Griezmann's second.
