It's a wee shame for him. Well when I sit on a deckchair* it doesn't just collapse - like Falkirk in a play-off situation - for no good reason. No, it 'collapses' in the genuine sense of the term: Quote to fall down suddenly because of pressure or having no strength or support Quote the sudden failure of a system, organization, business, etc. Which is precisely what happened to Falkirk when ahead in the closing stages of the play-off semi-final, to ensure a remarkable seventh successive season of complete and utter failure at winning promotion from the second tier. The hapless, Ukrainian-built deckchair of Scottish football. Gutted for you.

Unless of course that term only applies to Falkirk fans from the usual shite trollers? [emoji16]
roman_bairn
Quite like this,'to fall down suddenly because of pressure or having no strength or support'I honestly can't think of a statement that better suits Morton last season.

The only outstanding issue is how much abject floundering you're going to attempt on deck before being finished off with a makeshift club. It's not looking good. 13 minutes ago, roman_bairn said: Quite like this, 'to fall down suddenly because of pressure or having no strength or support' I honestly can't think of a statement that better suits Morton last season. Well given that Morton won 28 points in the first half of the season and sat 3rd, then won 24 points in the second half to finish 4th, literally nothing in that statement credibly describes Morton's campaign. The only sudden collapse under pressure that occurred last season was in fact Falkirk's inevitable, hilarious bottle-job of a winning position, during the closing fifteen minutes of their home leg of a play-off semi-final. Gutted for you.

HoBNob
No chance [emoji38] Apart from having a four sided stadium, playing in the top tier more recently, winning the Scottish cup more recently and spending more time in the top flight. Bigger, better, more stands. We also don't have that supporting us, sweet victory.

Shandon Par
Apologies if I caused Falkirk fans any offence the other day when questioning their achievements in the last decade. A number of them have rightly pointed out that they secured a conclusive relegation from the top tier in this time. We can therefore add relegation to the honours roll-call of train station surrender and choking in playoffs.

Dont want every thread to be a fight but maybe four or five absolute bombscare threads across the season would be fine. We are guaranteed 4 against you lot so thats a pretty assured start. We might actually be looking at about 16-20 Our Falkirk match discussions are threads of two halves: the amicable build-up then the shitfest aftermath. Bite-gate set the scene last season and I expect similar next weekend when we react badly to an inevitable humping.
