I don’t recommend it m9, but you should listen to Talksport for an insight to how Scottish Football is perceived by your average English based opinion.

Why is it seen as this big, controversial deal that we like to have a chuckle at the English media occasionally? They set themselves up for it all the time. The majority of us are paying customers for their product. Why is it so out of order to have a bit of craic about it exactly? We owe English football and the English media the square root of f**k all they are the same for us.

The constant need to shout down anyone who laughs at them in these scenarios is about as stupid as them making a big deal about Andy Murray when he said he wouldnt support them...
For what sensible reason would he consider supporting them?

Get it right up Liverpool. That was fucking hilarious, but beneath the hilarity they were bodied by a FAR superior team from a far superior footballing nation. Get on with it.

Think you’ve blown my point out of proportion really Bairnardo.
Nothing wrong with having a ‘dig’ when it’s just banter. Totally agree with that.
However there are still a few around who take this seriously (on both sides I might add), which surely is not healthy in this day and age.
I’m not a Liverpool supporter but it’s pretty obvious that a few things conspired against them last night. They looked as good if not better than Real until Salah went off, then Karius makes more goal inducing mistakes in one game than he has made all season.

If anyone needs an example for the various claims that Liverpool and their fans are vile, etc, go on to Twitter and search “Karius die”. Not only are Liverpool fans hoping for the death of their keeper, but some are also hoping his children die too.

Utter scum.

Good to know that we have a Jimmy 85 tribute act on the forum.

The seethe Ramos caused on twitter last night was absolutely beautiful by the way.

Also Bale's overhead was nowhere near as good as Ronaldo's goal, some were even saying better than Zizou's goal at Hampden ????

It was much better than Ronaldo’s goal v Juve, Bale had far less time to adjust his body to the cross that was coming his way.

No shock to see a Klopp side bottle a final. Karius will be hounded but Liverpools complete collapse after Salahs injury was never stopped by the manager. In saying that he could little when his keepers shipping goals.

Get the feeling Madrid would've found a way to win regardless. Zidane really is the perfect manager for them, gives absolutely zero fucks about their reputation, and gets them working like f**k.

In essence, Liverpool don't have the strength in depth to truly win against teams like Madrid. Liverpool bring on Lallana, Madrid bring on Bale, there's your difference, and its something you'd assume Klopp will try and rectify this Summer.

If Zidane gets them working so hard, why did they finish 17 points behind Barca?

Ramos is a great player but he’s a dirty b*****d. It looked like he tried to croak Mo Salah. Would have been nice to see a bit more of the Egyptian bloke.

After he went off did anyone see Liverpool winning?

Still, Liverpool did well until late on and if their ‘keeper hadn’t completely shafted them then it could have gone to extra time.

Not sure how Karius comes back from that at Liverpool. Two absolute howlers in the Champions League Final. Him and Mingnolet should be punted in the summer.

I don't know, I didn't see a lot of them this season. Real Madrid over the past decade have given about zero fucks about La Liga though, their entire focus seems hell bent on winning far more CLs than anyone else.

Talksport listeners are in no way average.

Yep Real seem to be in the mindset of ‘Win as many leagues as you like Barca, we’ll just win the big one if it’s all the same to you.’

Always felt as soon as Salah went off the game was up. Up to then Liverpool started this game like they did against City and Roma at Anfield, looking to blow the opposition away with a goal or two.
I really didn’t think there was much between the teams other than a goalkeeping nightmare.
In reality the difference was on the bench. Liverpool had nothing to replace Salah and as soon as he went off and was replaced by a Llama (intentional), they had nothing much to trouble Real.
