Ivo den Bieman
Very disappointing reult for Coleraine and Crusaders seem to be becoming ever more ruthless as the season goes on. The title really is theirs to lose now and I say that as a neutral who genuinely hoped Coleraine would hang on. Too many draws in winnable games. Carrick go route one at Ards and win 4-0 . If you look at the goals they seem a well, erm, very "direct" side. How shoogly is D Healy's peg at Linfield, do you think? 0-0 at home to Dungannon in a bit of a dire game and the club wheezing behind Glenavon in an attempt to qualify for Europe. Jacksgranda
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43032804 Glenavon win 6-1 at Ards, Glentoran score a last minute winner at Carrick, 2-1 to the Glens, and Cliftonville win 3-1 at Warrenpoint. Jacksgranda
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43097797 Linfield and Warrenpoint win. And Dungannon Swifts lift the League Cup, well done them. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43085569 On Friday Coleraine won 5-2 at Ballinamallard after 5 draws from their last 7, and Ards grabbed 3 vital relegation evading points with a win at The Oval. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43056681

The board at the oval aren't know for patience (or wisdom). Colin Nixon being talked about as a replacement.

Aye, heard that on the radio on the way home. Despite dropping a division, it will be looked at as a step up, I would think!

Audaces Fortuna Juvat
Healy must be under severe scrutiny. Most Linfield sites saying we were lucky to lose by just two against Glenavon and the team appears to be playing with no spark or fight. Signed a top class striker (by IL standards) from St Pats in the last window and has consistently played him out wide. From champs to chumps in six months. Audaces Fortuna Juvat
Cancel the title race! The Crues thrashed Glenavon 6-1 away from home last night and will almost certainly be champions, (although I would have loved Coleraine to do it for only the second time in their history). They are solid, have all-round depth in their squad and will be champions before the final game. I only wish Baxter had gone for it against ICT, but the money for being champions dictates what he and any IL club does. Linfield will need to won the Irish Cup to get into Europe. Jacksgranda
The title race is not quite dead, as Cliftonville stuff Crusaders 3-1 at Solitude, while Coleraine won 2-0 at Ballymena. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43358812 Two points in it now, although I think the Crues will win it, and probably by more than 2 points. Crusaders top, Coleraine two points behind, third are Glenavon on 62 points, twelve behind Coleraine, Linfield fourth on 58, fifth Cliftonville on 52 with a game in hand and sixth are Glentoran on 44. Bottom half: Ballymena are seventh on 38 points with 2 games in hand, eighth are Ards on 33, a point ahead of Dungannon who have a game in hand, tenth are Warrenpoint Town on 21 points, played 30, eleventh are Carrick on 17, played 31 with Ballinamallard seemingly doomed in last place with 10 points from 30. Next week Crusaders are at home to Dungannon Swifts, so not much chance of an upset there, while the Bannsiders travel to Ards, where they struggled earlier this season before running out comfortable winners. Carrick are at home to Cliftonville, while the Mallards travel to Glenavon. In The Championship Institute lead, with Newry City 7 points behind, both played 25, Ballyclare Comrades are a point behind Newry, having played a game more. At the bottom Lurgan Celtic are 6 points behind Dergview, who are in turn 5 behind Knockbreda, who have played a game more. And in the Intermediate Dundela lead by a point from Queens University who are 6 in front of Moyola Park who have a game in hand. Newington YC prop up the table although Donegal Celtic are above them only on goal difference. https://www.nifootballleague.com/

Jacksgranda
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/43429323 As you were at the top, six games left, but I think the Crues have it, even if they are only two points in front. Ballymena continue to flounder, I'm surprised David Jeffrey hasn't got things sorted or at least improved. No change at the bottom either. https://www.nifootballleague.com/ In The Championship Institute are 4 points in front of Newry City. Don't know how many games are left! Larne going well, now, 14 games unbeaten, will fancy their chances in the Irish Cup semi against Coleraine, I'd think. Down at the bottom, Lurgan Celtic look doomed.
