I wasn’t going to get involved but now that you’re turning it into a witch hunt there are 2 sides to every story.
Kenny has bags of experience having coached at both Dundee Utd and Raith Rovers. He doesn’t have the sort of money thrown at the club by Colin Downie during your time there.  Recent results might be an embarrassment to you but the club suffered a lot more embarrassment than that when those people you speak of with an affinity to the club were there before. Yes I would like to see a stronger YM but do I want to see a return to the days when the likes of you, Grant Brough, your brother and the rest of your fortified wine fueled friends threw flares, Buckie bottles and Kung fu kicks at Kinnoul players when the won the league at Rosyth and had to have a police escort out of the town? No thanks and neither do the committee.

There is no witch hunt, ask any fan of any senior or junior club whether conceding over 100 goals in 16 games is acceptable or not and I think most would suggest it's unacceptable. There needs to be accountability and that will not happen whilst Coaching staff remain on the committee and the husband of a Coach is the Chairman. There are no other committee members other than a recently appointed photographer.

There has been little or no money at the club in the last 5 years yet results haven't been anywhere near as bad as this season.

There are a number of football people who have offered help as a group. Sooner or later the club will be required to have an AGM and there will be no hiding place then although the community can only hope the club doesn't die before then.

Pipe, slippers and coffee. This could get even more interestinger. [emoji5]

I was at that game because I had a large antepost bet on kinnoull to win the league.

I can confirm I would not really want certain characters anywhere near a club I supported having witnessed their drunken shenanigans that day.

No hiding place for who?

When Andy Healy left we were sitting comfortably in the top half of the league. Kenny inherited a team rock bottom of the juniors. Roughly, what has that got to do with the current committee?

This is bald men fighting over a comb stuff.  Kirkcaldy YM are on their arse, putting out sides which are getting absolutely hammered every week how are they going to attract anyone to improve the team if they carry on like that and if it is true the management team are also on the committee that can’t be healthy.

No way can any club in that position turn away help either on or off the field.  Sounds like the best bet is to withdraw the club to allow it to re-group away from the publicity of large defeats and come back next season, it’s not as if they will suffer if all the players are released, they’re not upto to Junior level anyway.  Crossgates did that and look at them now, more interest and much improved and Kirkcaldy is far bigger than Crossgates.

Why should they withdraw if they have the people in the background willing to step on and help surely getting they people on and building from there is the best answer

Well it seems like the club don't want help from these people so they continue to get humped every week until the end of the season. What then, try and get better players who will be well aware of the humpings, very difficult.   They probably need to hit the reset button and taking a few months out will actually help and raise awareness of the problems and maybe more people will come forward. Seems to be a bitchfest at the moment.

And I can confirm flying pig was at the centre of it all. The fact he’s more embarrassed by recent results says it all really.

The current Manager took over mid last season when the team had played 11 games with 5 draws & sitting 4th bottom. Rock bottom......

The squad he inherited was generally youth players who were very succesful in their age groups & had plenty potential. Considering little or no money was available it was a reasonable squad. The new manager couldn't convince any to stay, current results suggest he got that one wrong. Most if not all of last seasons players have gone onto play for other Junior clubs incl super league & premier league, south & north.

106 goals conceded, yes that's 106 with no more than double figures scored is factual as is 1 point from 16 games.

I'm sure the current incumbents have good intentions however.....

Let’s not split hairs although I did say roughly rock bottom but just had it confirmed it was actually second bottom not 4th bottom as you claim. We all want what’s best for our club but you’ve got to take the highs with the lows and while the current situation is far from perfect those at the helm need our support. I don’t care how many years any individual has spent at my club as a player/coach. They chose to leave and they were thanked for their services. This does not give them the right to decide when it’s time for change or whom that should be.

Any club at that level with the season you've had should be welcoming in any help not burying your head in the sand though that's just my opinion

I respect your opinion and totally agree with it. Unfortunately all we have at the moment is the flying pig advocating on behalf of his brother,  who as has been known for some time has his eyes set on the managers job.

I was under the impression that Craig wasn't as interested in the manager's as he was wanting to help YM out with a few other people.

But even if he was after the manager's role at YM, they could do far worse. From witnessing what changes and improvements he made at Lochgelly (and that was seen behind the scenes as well), he would be a very good candidate, imo.

He appeared to be well respected from the players, his & his coaching team had some very good ideas and it was refreshing to see these implemented and the club making progress.

It's no coincidence that Lochgelly have dropped away a bit since he left.

But, as I said, I was under the impression that wasn't the role Craig was looking at from what I'd been told.

You seem to be pretty close to the decision makers so perhaps you can clarify my previous points

Why does the committee include the manager & coaches. An even stranger situation with the chairman being the husband of a coach. Again I appreciate they are doing their best but it is not healthy & I would be surprised if any other Junior team had a similar set up.

Why could the current manager not keep any of the previous seasons squad, all of whom have arguably gone onto continue their development at other Junior clubs at all levels.

Why can't the current coaching team attract players capable of playing at Junior level. Results indicate they've failed. There is a massive gap between the ym and the 2nd bottom team in the south league.

Surely after multiple double figure scorelines players/management would learn from previous games. Why has this not been rectified.

One thing is for sure the only thing lower than the current situation is the doors closing and other hovering teams taking over the facility and the YM dying.

I appreciate you perhaps have a personal friendship with the current committee but as a football person you must wonder where the club is going.

I'm not condoning the behaviour of people previously associated with the club but we have all made mistakes in our life & been punished. Show me a man who hasn't.......

To be fair to the new manager least he's won a game, the previous one left when times got tough...without a win to his name!

1st post Johnny, good work. Another head in the sand moment.

The current Manager won the game with the previous seasons squad. 106 goals lost and 1 point from 18 games.....that's 106 goals conceded with his own squad this season.

I was the previous manager & have great memories of my time there. It's just a pity I put myself under pressure and the committee then done the same. I worked with little help or support & my record the season before was 12 points from 10 games then 5 from 11 games. My reasons for leaving will remain private.

You think you had any less support than the current manager? Im not taking sides but to come on here and slate the new manager when you never won a game yourself is a bit harsh(didn't even know you were the previous manager but makes makes sense now)Kirkcaldy has struggled since Andy left, he had the makings of a cracking team and all his hard work went down the drain pretty much overnight. Hate to see the club like this but one thing the new manager can say(so far) is he hasn't left when the chips are down

Facts -

I was Asst Manager to Andy and the team was built by us BOTH. To say the the hard work went down the drain overnight is your opinion but complete nonsense.

Andy left mid season and I took over winning 3 and drawing 3 from 12 games (never won a game....oh wait)

The following season we drew 5 out of 11 games with the 1st 4 games against the previous seasons top 3 and the relegated team from the premier. The coaching staff I brought in were previously at top level clubs and had years of experience.

The following season we added some of the very best Youth players in Fife incl a player from Raith. This was the squad that the current manager didn't think good enough. Most have went on to play at a higher level.....not difficult but I've a feeling you'll disagree.

The current set up of the manager and coaches on the committee is unhealthy and it's not great for accountability.

I would love to see them doing well but any normal football fan would understand the dynamics of running a club.

Embrace change or find the doors closed and another team playing in the facility. They refused help and support only recently. Time will tell....

Roughly translated :

you want to take credit for the job Andy Healy done  and blame Kenny for the demise.

Facts -

Andy Healy left a good squad and we were sitting comfortably top half of the league.

Kenny inherited a team that were absolutely toiling at the foot of the table.

Perhaps not overnight but over the course of a few months something went completely wrong in between.

Keep digging .

So all the talk back when you were in charge was 'our team is so inexperienced' yet you bring in some of fifes best YOUTH players? I'm sorry but i watched some of the games you were in charge of and to say they are the best youth players in Fife is an absolutely shocking statement. The young lad from raith... if you dont mind me asking, wheres he playing now. He was a decent player from what i can remember.. when he was fit!!

Im not wanting to start comparing managers as i understand it must be a hard job but when you started the season as manager of the YM, you brought in YOUR own players after Andy left(the best young players in Fife by the way) and yet only won 1 game?? Jesus, if theres anyone that cant slag off the new gaffer its got to be you!
