Harthill 2 Oakley 2
Pitch was a swamp and will be ruined for weeks but it didn’t stop a great game, first half was very even although harthill should have took the lead when there fwd was 1 on 1 with our keeper but ross Wortley made 2 great saves.
0-0ht
Second half the game came alive and was end to end with some great chances by both teams, harthill went 1 up from a corner then went 2 up with a long clearance that we all felt the boy was offside but with no Lino there’s no much you can do,thought the ref had a really good game though,we made a change and scored from Wullie Gardner,we then equalised from a great cross from James Mcateer and Barry Allan finished well, we then hit the bar from a free kick from Lee Duffy and in the dying minutes harthill Goalie made 2 great saves from Mcateer to keep it at 2-2.
Really enjoyed the second half today even though we didn’t win

West Calder 0-2 Rosyth

Not a great day at the office this afternoon for us, we missed a penalty in the first half when the game was still evens and prob not a lot in it.

Rosyth scored a goal in each half to deservedly take the three points. We put in a lot of effort but felt like our decision making was not good and let us down.  Some personnel and formation changes at halftime  certainly helped but it just wasn’t going to be our day.

Am sure Gary and Deek will pass on their words of wisdom to the guys in training next week and we ll see a different performance in the cup next week.

Good battling performance by Rosyth on a heavy pitch. Could have been different if the decidedly dodgy penalty had been scored by the home team.  West Calder had a lot of the ball but did not use it wisely and Rosyth missed a few chances before sealing the victory with the second goal 10 minutes from time. Good team performance but another masterclass in defending and organising from Mark McCulloch. Things improving for Rosyth after a disappointing start to the season and best wishes to our friendly hosts for the rest of the season.

Rosyth 1 Pumpherston 6

Pumphy jumped to the top of of the league today in  blustery conditions.Pumphy squandered several chances in the first half and went in at halftime with only one goal from an og  to the good.Rosyth started off the second in determined fashion chasing the equaliser and it duly came from the penalty spot.Moments later though Pumphy were awarded a penalty, Mcritchie sending the keeper the wrong.Rosyth were reduced to 10 men after an altercation on the touchline. They then went down to 9 men ad the keeper brought down McRitchie who scored from the spot kick. Jack Beaumont added a further two strikes and a Kyle Sampson tap in completed the scoring.

Good game for 65 minutes ref then loses the plot

Due to the wind it was all pumphy first half then twenty minutes of the second half it was all rosyth

Then the red cards come out and pumphy punish rosyth

Pumpherston 4 Craigroyston 0

Another fine display 2-0 after 12 minutes from Wilkins and Hastings headers.Royston were reduced to ten men for a straight red.McRitchie slotted home the third before the break.Wilkins was sent off for two yellows and Craigroyston were reduced to nine men.Derek Shaw struck home the fourth goal from just inside the Craigroyston half deceiving the keeper who thought it was going over.

Oakley 3 Dufftown 2

we made hard work of this and nearly blew it, we scored after 20 mind thru Barry Allan and were the better team the first half but couldn't kill them off due to some inspired goal keeping, second half we started great but then lost a sucker punch of a goal after 15 mins with a header at the back post, we then were all over the shop for 10 mins and dufftown went 2-1 but only after our keeper got a boot in the face saving a shot and ref played on when he was down. this spurred us on and we deservedly equalised thru a great free kick from Lee Duffy, it was all oakley now and we scored the winner with 5 to go thru Lee Halpin. Great battling last 15 from us but had more than enough chances to kill the game off. got to say apart from what happened at there second goal, the referee had a really good game and explained his decisions when asked.

Bit pedantic I know but last goal was inside Craigie half.  Deserved win and good luck for rest of season

Edinburgh Utd 1 vs Primrose 3

Very professional job yesterday as we become the first team to beat Edinburgh in the League. Dominated first half but scorned a lot of chances and feared this would come back to bite us, but boys dug deep and got the job done.

Great to see some of the long term injury’s starting to clear, with Patsy scoring on his return after six weeks out.  No rest another tough game away to Musselburgh next week in the Cup.

Great result that for the primrose well done. Also done Lochgelly a big favour with their games in hand right back in the mix.

If was a case of taking your chances against the big guns of the Super league, their keeper pulled of a couple of great saves then we were suckerpunched with two first half's goals.Came out fighting in second missed a couple more chances but wasn't to be.Hospitality second to none I've ever been at.

Where's Number4 with the Oakley report.

Found a funny one in the courier

“Head butts, upper cuts and kung fu kicks were on the menu all witnessed by players, supporters including many children and referee.
