Ante Post Betting 2017/2018

Recommended Posts

Just had a check of mine.

Got the following at 4 folds, 5 folds and an accy:

Walsall to be relegated (currently 18th 3 points above relegation places)
Villa to be promoted (currently 3rd 1 point behind Derby)
Coventry to be promoted (currently 5th 1 point behind 3rd)
Tranmere to win the league (currently 5th 5 points behind 1st)
Everton to win the league without "Big 6" (currently 9th, well 3rd for the bet, 4 points behind "leaders" Burnley.
Hamilton to finish bottom (currently 10th 6 points ahead of Ross County)

All still have a chance but not sure I'll get 4 and definitely not all 6.

Have trebles, 4 folds and an accy on the following:

Rangers to win the league without Celtic (3 points behind Aberdeen)
Brechin to finish bottom (as good as guaranteed, 16 points behind Dumbarton)
Forfar to finish bottom (3 points ahead of bottom Queen's Park)
Liam Buchanan league one top scorer (7 goals, 9 behind top scorer)
Rory McAllister league two top scorer (17 goals, 1 behind top scorer)

So one definitely happening, one definitely not and 3 in the balance. I'd fancy Rangers and Rory but we've picked up after getting rid of Bollan, still might come bottom but don't think we will.

Backed the following each way to win their leagues from trebles up to a 7 team accy:

Spurs
Sheffield Wednesday
Wigan
Coventry
Falkirk
Raith
Peterhead

For those Wigan, Raith and Peterhead could win their leagues, Coventry an outside chance but can get top 3 for each way, Spurs need to finish 2nd for each way which I can't see and Falkirk are a joke.

Overall quite happy with them, only backed them using the small amount of winnings I made on ante post last year, Plymouth blowing the title on the last day saw my winnings reduced by about £800.

First and possibly last ante post bet up for this season. Fiver e/w on Wolverhampton Wanderers at 10/1 with bet365 paid out £72.50 yesterday.
