For the next few years at least it's going to be 4 from 6 very strong clubs so there's no guarantee for any of them of Champions League football.

Man City and Chelsea have a bottomless pit, Man United far more financial clout and Spurs are flying.

IMO Klopp on his 5 year deal is very much there for the long haul.

If so, prepare more more defensive calamities and seasons without trophies.

Klopp will not admit that his defence is rubbish,  even more deluded than Wenger.

Imagine paying £35 million for Oxlade-Chamberlain in the last year of his contract!

When Giggs gets passed over for another two EPL jobs the penny might drop that he may actually have to get his finger out and start down the leagues if he wants to become a manager.

I find it bizarre he's on about managing a team who "matches his ambitions", he's absolutely deluded

Just to sit on the bench at another club as well. A.O.C must be utterly raging with himself for making the move [emoji1]

They'd have just sat tight otherwise. Time will tell but he's shown a bit in the last few games.

Klopp knows quite fine his defence hasn't  been good enough he's not going to publicly say it though. He's tried to work with what he's got and missed out on his number 1 target decided to wait.

Everton are a bigger club than Newcastle so it’s not really a sideways move. They’re also hardly a crumbling wreck and have what seems a pretty decent squad. It’s just a case of Koeman’s tactics not working and for whatever reasons, he’s been unable to inspire and motivate them.

Was referring to the stadium. You've got to look to the past for both clubs winning trophies to be fair, Newcastle have a bigger support and were in the champions league much more recently.  Fair enough we've been a yoyo of late and historically to a degree whereas Everton haven't. Not much in it though. Money is pretty much the only way to define size of club these days however.

I see Everton as a bigger club than Newcastle too. Yes Newcastle have got the bigger stadium but they've yo-yo'd plenty of times while Everton have been in the top flight since 1954 only missing a couple of seasons overall.

They've also won 9 League titles (3rd all time) compared to Newcastle's 4.

I think Everton have a Chairman who seems committed and has money to spend. Newcastle have a Chairman who wants out (and who is wanted out by the fans) and a lot of uncertainty over them.

Of course, if Newcastle get some would-be Abramovich taking over, that's a different story. For the time being though, I'd much rather manage Everton than Newcastle.

That rancid c**t Giggs is saying in the press that he’s interested in the Leicester and Everton jobs.
Aye right.

He’s the Barry Ferguson of England.
If Barry Ferguson has banged his brother’s wife.

i would love giggsy to get it and relegate them.

the stuff dreams are made of

Giggs will get the Welsh job when Coleman moves on.

Very true. He was only assistant at Old Trafford because the board imposed him on Van Gaal. Mourinho was very quick to punt him.
