Guest Moomintroll
Have watched that several times and still have no idea what happened. Lukaku looks like he left the boot into Lovrens ribs and he pretends to be stamped in the face? Will be ignored due to the complexity but could be a 3 game and 2 game ban respectively if they followed the rules.
accies1874
De Gea is absolutely outstanding.
accies1874
On Lukaku: I do think his right foot meant to catch Lovren’s face. It’s about all he’s done so far.
Guest Moomintroll
Actually would only result in a ban for Lukaku when I think about the actual rule. Can only be banned for simulation if a penalty or red card is given.
HibeeJibee
Returning to the Christmas Eve thing - apparently EPL have now dropped the late afternoon game but are non-committal on the early afternoon game, which is looking likely to be West Ham v Newcastle. bairney
Jose parking the bus, parking the bus. Couldn't believe Salah snatching at that when it was lined up perfect for Coutinho.

Disappointed in this given how their season has started but Jose's gonna Jose. If his usual luck continues expect an 85th minute Rashford substitution before the inevitable 89th minute Rashford winning goal.

accies1874
United have been horrendous this second half. No idea how to cope with Liverpool’s pressing.

8MileBU
This second half has been brutal viewing. One way traffic with no end product from Liverpool and Man Utd here for a 0-0. ETA: If I was Juan Mata I’d be seething that Ashley Young and Jesse Lingard were on the pitch ahead of me.
TheGoon
This game has been chronic. Not quite as bad last season but for the EPL’s supposed “biggest game” it’s certainly been a letdown.

Jmothecat2
Every game I've watched Manchester United play this season has been boring. No idea how a team can score 4 goals but not be entertaining but they manage it.
