Monkey Tennis
I like Armstrong and it's definitely true that others were at fault for the second goal too. It was however, a truly criminal error. We'd survived the free kick and the danger was virtually over. To give it straight back like that would have been pretty unforgivable, even if there wasn't a break open on the left. If he'd booted it up the field or into touch, I'd have been annoyed too as a more productive pass was so clearly on. Obviously though, either of those options would have been much better than the one he went for. I didn't find out who the guilty party was until I got home on Saturday night and I was very surprised when I did as he's not a player you'd generally associate with brainless decision making. It's to his credit that he's taking responsibility for it. I'm sure he'll recover from it, but I doubt that I will.
NorthernJambo
Poor lad doesn't see much action playing for Celtic. He could lean against the post and smoke his pipe for most of the games. Okay..?
