Nobody cares about that tainted nonsense any more.

The Villa were magnificent this evening.

All hail Steve Bruce.

Used to play for Sunderland and I've heard he still has a box at the Stadium of Light

Surely no one looks at the mess Sunderland are and thinks the answer to getting it sorted is Ally McCoist. Not even a club as fucked up as Sunderland can think there is no one better than him.

And no doubt Sportsound would suddenly develop a deep sustained interest in a shite English Championship club.

Safe to say that Barry Douglas has improved since his time in Scotland - he's impressed me every time I've seen Wolves this season. Two quality set-piece assists for their goals, here.

His delivery was unbelievable in the game last night. Top of the assist list in the Championship too. He always had that at Utd but it was overshadowed by too many bombscare moments.

If Scotland could find a system that used 3 left backs we'd be laughing.

McGhee appointed Barnet manager.

Love their in-depth look at his time with us and Bristol Rovers...

Quote

After time at Aberdeen and Bristol Rovers, McGhee linked up with close friend Gordon Strachan and became assistant coach of the Scottish National side, a role he kept for 5 years.
