Junior football, what is the future?

The plan is to try and implement an east/west super league from season 19/20 at tier 6.

If that goes ahead then there wouldn't be relegation from the super league next season.

Why would the West Juniors want to join an SJFA "Lowland Superleague", when they could form their own West of Scotland league for 2019/20 at tier 6 and not have to travel east every few weeks?

Auchinleck v Lochee, Kilbirnie v Broughty, Carnoustie v Glenafton, who dreams this shit up, and doesn't this need to be voted on at an EGM? then get passed by the PWG (which it wont).  LL and HL area clubs in the same league at tier 6, EoSFL area clubs in a competitor league. You have to laugh.

What happens if rumours on here are true and Pencuik leave for the EoS, Newtongrange decide at their meeting to leave or other clubs leave.

Correct. The West Region set-up is perfect to move directly into the Pyramid and fill tiers 6, 7 , 8 and 9.

If not everyone wants to move, then a WoSFL is set-up and I'm sure it would get strong interest. No need to "poach" East clubs to try and keep the SJFA afloat.

Looking at the compostition of the Superleague, I'm not too sure many clubs south of the FRB will be wetting themselves in anticipation.

Why are you concerned  burnieman, you are off to the beazer league and the promised land.

Let the teams that are left who are happy to remain as juniors be as they wish without your disrespectful comments about them.

Certainly any super duper league could in theory work alongside the eos as the feeder that emcompasses the west teams. Again it could be run by the sjfa. It certainly ticks Tom's boxes.

Remember though Tom it is a lowland feeder so get ready to tell lochee , broughty,  carnoustie and forfar their not invited to the party.

...and then you look at the general dross in the EoS and think maybe not too bad after all.

You could also stick to the Fife Forum with your multiple IDs and stop trolling, just a thought.

The biggest delusion of them all.

Forget all about Pyramids as they upset you. Enjoy the Cup Final.

Re last nights East Region meeting, was any mention made of what would happen if there are further resignations or was it head in sand stuff?

What don't you understand about the EOS moving to 2 divisions after a transitional season? The top 16 in the EOS looks like a more attractive league than what remains in the East Superleague, especially if Penicuik & Newtongrange Star are also moving over. The "dross" will end up in EOS Division 1 or something like that.
