If, due to the rules on notice period for change of structure, they could run with this;

Or 3  regional leagues? South (of Forth), Central and North (of Tay).

That would prepare for regional pyramid entry at tier 7 feeding into EoS (similar to East Premier at tier 6) and Lowland League at tier 5 (similar to the SL)

If the above speculation becomes reality, what impact (if any) is it likely to have on the SJFA  and its negotiating stance regarding the  West Juniors  and the pyramid ?

I wonder if the SFA has given an official response as yet, to TJ's letter ?

You'd have to imagine that the more Junior clubs join the EoS for next season, then the stronger hand the EoS have to play by pointing out to the SJFA (and SFA) that they are the Pyramid in the East and that if clubs want to join it, they join their league and there is no justification for a competitor league.

Well if it plays out that the SJFA cannot get an entry in the East, it calls into question whether they should be allowed entry at all.   A WoSFL is easily set-up without the need for the involvement of the SJFA.

Let the SJFA carry on with those clubs who dont want to join the Pyramid.

Remember if the sjfa east do join the pyramid as has been voted.
No matter where they are placed all the north of tay bridge teams will likely be dumped.

Well Dundee to Aberdeen is little different from Dundee to Edinburgh both distance and time wise. Same with Dundee to Peterhead or Dundee to Dunbar.

A new NOSFL with the best of the Tayside and North teams in the top division, then a Tayside/Perthshire division, Aberdeenshire division and a Moray/Inverness division, maybe hooking up with the NCL, would be a way forward.  Champion promoted to the HFL if they meet requirements, and brings NCL into the Pyramid.

A positive solution that would bring a better balance in pyramid club numbers, between north (of Tay) and the rest of Scotland.  Would need to get the HFL on side though, as well as the Junior clubs affected.

Interesting thoughts contained in here around other East clubs applying for EoS entry next year...essentially confirms the figures many in this thread have used of 14/15 Junior applications.

The  Camelon chairman's statement, sums up the situation about the move to the 'seniors', very well, and is worth reading.

An interesting snippet is that:

2) Will attendance be affected?
Currently the average attendance for this season is 95 so it’s hard to imagine how crowds could possible be smaller with several Junior Clubs moving over too. There are an estimated 14 Junior Clubs moving over – 4 of them we already play against and they have come to Carmuirs Park in good numbers this season.

If the 4 they already play against implies superleague teams, Bonnyrigg, HoB and Dundonald are the other superleague teams that are usually listed as applicants in this regard, so this suggests there is another superleague club that have applied?  Also worth noting the expectation of more applications for the following season from teams close to Falkirk:

5) Will we not have any local derby matches?
I gather that some local Junior clubs have applied and also that others who didn’t apply for next season are submitting applications for the following season. We will have 2 competitions to compete in next season in which we can draw East Stirlingshire too.

The first bit fits Dunipace being the club from the west, but who else would be described as local by somebody in Falkirk? I guess Bathgate and Blackburn more or less fit on that, but Sauchie would probably be a better fit for being viewed as local and a fourth superleague team that they already play against.

Just to be clear, BSC being a community football club with 750 kids or whatever playing for them makes absolutely zero difference in terms of licencing. Every requirement in the green guide relating to youth football starts with "if the club ...". All of the statutory requirements relate to the set up for the first team. In that respect, having a team from the west of Glasgow meeting their licence criteria by playing in Alloa is a nonsense. It's hard to even begin to list what's wrong about Edusport. Folk can jump in here but can anyone think of a football team anywhere in the leagues of any country that doesn't actually identify with a specific location? We could have a premiership of made up teams I suppose where companies just turn up somewhere and use facilities - The Fairy Bio Academy of Opportunity  Team 1 playing out of somewhere in Govan seeking to attract the great unwashed with their Edinburgh franchise Team 2 using somewhere in Leith.
Saw an Edusport player get knocked back for buying a 4 pack of Kronenberg in Tesco a few weeks ago.

Nothing to do with the thread, just found it funny at the time.
