Clubs need to start talking with all options on the table. The Pyramid wont go away and will only get stronger, that's the bottom line.

There is only one option on the table for West Junior teams , where are you seeing any other options for West teams at this time on the table, cause there arent any except via the SSL, who is saying the Pyramid is going away?.

There is no realistic options for West teams, and it will stay like that unless you start talking.   As for the Pyramid, you know there's plenty within the Junior game who are trying to ignore its existence, one gets paid a lot of money and has an office at Hampden.

In every senior league in Scotland there are 4 play off spots if SJFA and SFA could surely get together and get a beneficial agreement to have 4 play off spots at 'non league level'. This could then enable a Lowland League split that would hopefully be satisfactory to almost all teams?

Bottom of League Two, Highland League Winners potential new Lowland League West and Lowland League East Winners all playing off?

With East Kilbride, Cumbernauld Colts in West League along with for example top 14 West Juniors. Then Lowland League East with rest of Lowland League teams and for example top East Super Premier Junior team and South / East of Scotland Winners?

Would be no travel issue for West Region teams, East Region fitba teams too could then start amalgamating with poorer Lowland League 'East' teams being relegated and top Junior teams in East replacing them so current East Region Junior teams can play Spartans, East Stirling, Whitehill Welfare and also perhaps Kelty again.

I think more likely will stay as it is with Lowland League and two rather poor standard of feeder leagues.

Also are the teams in North Region of Juniors happy where they are or would they like to play in Highland League / Scottish Cup and view the weaker Highland League teams like Fort William with contempt as a few have better teams, grounds and support? Or they happy as things are? Genuinely don't know about North Region as not many of them on here to voice their opinions?

Maybe nobody wants to talk and ignoring it for a reason. Most have a hundred and one things to do before thinking about or bothering about this , it won't be priority .

What the south of scotland qualifying preliminary knockout let in whoever wants a game cup? Have they won that though?

Please don't tell me you're going to go down the road of belittling them ?! At least 6 of those 7 - the Lowland League, the Lowland League Cup (x2), the SFA South Challenge Cup (x2) and the EOSQ Cup - are fully creditable. They also won the East of Scotland Cup which isn't a full-blown tournament but did entail beating a SPFL2 club (Berwick unfortunately).

Realistic or not that is the option and a big  part in holding back many teams , as far as anyone at Hampden in your opinion ignoring its existence i would say the opposite and suggest they are well aware , but its the clubs to decide not hampden.

There are plenty in the "north region" that could voice their opinions. You are forgetting technically east super league sides lochee Utd, broughty & carnoustie for a start are all "north teams".

Doing nothing wont change it, and if you think TJ doesn't have huge influence over this then you're very much mistaken. His comments at this years AGM re Kelty leaving were very poor.

In an ideal world that is how it would work, LL split West and East and a 4-way play off for SPFL promotion.  However the SFA are fairly disinterested and we all know the SJFA's opinion.

East Kilbride, Cumbernauld Colts, BSC, Gretna and I guess Edusport are five clubs who would be in a LL West, probably nine West Junior clubs required to give 14 clubs and get it started and expand to 16 over the next season or two. Relegate into the West Superleague.

But why should west juniors get above anyone just because there wasn't a west senior league where east juniors suffer because there was east seniors. If they r doing it should be lowland league then west league sit below that

It would be a start, though even then some would question the inclusion in a "west" league of a side based in Alloa and one based...well, where exactly?

Annan?

Edinburgh?

Glasgow?

Hamilton?

Paris?

Whilst I agree, it should have no bearing.

It's not going to happen anytime soon anyway. Edusport will be gone by then hopefully!

Let's hope that now the season begins, we can concentrate on our team's future from now until June!

Think about where teams will be at season end and hope that some of our predictions are correct -  like Musselburgh doing enough to be promoted into the Super League at first time of asking! Sauchie did it last year and we will follow this year!

There's plenty of threads on the go to discuss that, not this one.

You have been warned! [emoji1]

Thanks for the advice BU!

Thought it was okay to post as Musselburgh are a junior team and I saw the word future?

I'll heed your warning and maybe DM the Burnie next time to check what the protocol is when commenting on this forum!
