I thought Cambuslang were lucky to win that one.

Cumbernauld had the better of the game and were doing all of the pressing but then slack defending at the back allowed 9 and 10 to pass the ball about and open the scoring and then later on 9 again managed to slot the ball home from what looked like an impossible angle to actually score from.

Into the second half and again it was United who were doing all of the pressing again with a headed effort ruled out for offside before a counter attack saw the substitute stick the ball through the keeper - he'll be disappointed with that one as they say, could have thrown his hat on it and he'd have made a better job than he actually did.

Robbie "played for Scotland" Winters then pulled one back for United with a header and Murphy rattled a free kick off the post but Lang held on to take the three points that on balance they didn't deserve but they scored the goals whilst United despite having all of the ball were decidedly piss poor in the final third.

Reading your match report it looks like the final scoreline flattered Cumbernauld.

Was it you that Murphy (P) was having a go at after the second goal?

Please note that our previously scheduled Sat 7th Oct trip to play Irvine Meadow has now been switched to Somervell Park after apparently Medda requested the switch.

One again not on once of F#@K given to the guys that arrange travel, support of community. We had sold out a coach to travel down and now they plans need to be ripped up.

Whats the point in advance fixtures if the (insert expletives here) can just chop and change them when he wants?

Any idea why the medda requested this venue switch?

Latest Result.
Cambuslang Rangers 3-3 Kello Rovers.

Poor performance from the Lang yesterday. Completely over run in middle of the park, esp first half.

An OG opened the scoring for the home side after only 7 minutes.
Kello levelled after the 20mins, thought keeper could have done better.
Lang's second was a cracker. Kilmartin and McRobbie combined and the latter on hand to knick home.
McRobbie had some good chances in the first half, but so did the visitors.

Kello levelled a couple if minutes into the second half after another sloppy clearance.

2nd half sub Gemmell fired Lang in front for a third time when he fired into the top corner from 25yards.

2 minutes from the end and Kello levelled once more.

Lang finished with 10 men when Capt Kris Gebbie picked up 2 bookings in quick succession.

Disappointment for the home side as they dropped their first league points of the season.

Kello are a very stuffy team with a few very good players

Good advert for junior football this game!

We went behind 3 times, we had 6/7 clear cut chances that maybe on another day we would have scored!

Sending off was a bit harsh but the boys first yellow was continuous mouthing off at the Lino!

OG for CR first goal and a defensive mistake for second, 3rd was a great goal.

Our first was at the end of some great play with Sean Bennie finishing off , second goal the defender smashed off our midfielder and fell to wee Greg to put away, 3rd goal was a good finish from Jim Wilson!

At the start of the game we would have taken the point but with the chances we had it could have been 3 points, CR had chances to win and also 2 goals offside!

Better officials this week also was good!!
