Seems it’s not just the DUP who are “obsessed by flegs” to paraphrase pie and bovril patter...

Text:

Walkers Shortbread is a family company which has been established in the Highlands of Scotland for 120 years.

We take great pride in our Scottish heritage, and we work closely within our community as a key employer for our area, Speyside.  We have a dedicated and loyal local workforce of long term employees, and the family values of the company come from generations of family ownership.

One of our key business principles is maintaining our manufacturing in Scotland for the long run and this is what we as a business and family strive for.

The Walker family would like to clarify that the Union Jack Keepsake tin is one of many tins currently available, each of which is designed to celebrate an array of places and events and includes the launch of the Love Scotland Keepsake range at the start of the year.

We strive continuously to offer a wide range of products to suit our global customer base.

Looks to me that they've had a fair-few idiot Nats have a go at them.  If P&B is in any way representative of how scummy Scotland has become I am not surprised.

£5.75 (inc P&P) for 120g of averagey biscuits? That's nearly £48 per kilogram.

Walkers Pure Butter Shortbread Union Jack Keepsake Tin 120g - Made in Scotland

What a bargain! (if you're a moron, a gullible tourist or a collector of crap)

Which group do you fall into TCK?

What's truly sad is that so many people on here don't grasp that all flag obsessions are daft and can only find fault when it's somebody else's flag that is involved. SNP supporters tend to assume that the rest of the world makes this huge distinction between Scotland and Britian in a positive and negative sort of way when in reality if you travel the world a bit and live and work in other countries you quickly find they really don't and that we are nothing like as important or significant to people elsewhere as we like to think we are.

Seemingly so, just to show how scummy Scotland has become:

Immaterial. Clearly the small-minded Nats have issues with shortbread tins.  Not that I am surprised.

So let me understand you here.  You are drawing parallels between Scots taking umbrage over the design of a biscuit tin with a Scot murdering an MP?  Have I got you right here?
