The older Paisley generation didn't get over the way the DUP unceremoniously dumped Ian Paisley as leader when their calculation was that he had become an electoral liability by being too friendly with Martin McGuiness and gave some embittered interviews about it before Ian Paisley died. I'd imagine the same would happen in Wales and Scotland. I'm staggered that the MLA's are still getting paid. Westminster can pass any laws they like, whether the NI Executive are in place or not. This also applies to Scotland & Wales. You may recall that "The Vow" stated that Scotland would be given the most federal government ever, with extensive powers that could never be taken away. That was just another lie.
