I reckon Hanlon still has at least a couple of seasons left in him. Less sure about Lewis. He stays fighting fit that's for sure but looked miles off the pace last time I saw him on the pitch. Both of them should be starting every game between now and end of season.
GreenGray Posted Tuesday at 12:49 Share Posted Tuesday at 12:49 If Hanlon, Stevenson and Marshall were all to leave there is a decent chance Chris Cadden will be our only Scottish first team player next season.

Pretty bleak that their last ever home appearance will be in front of a half empty Easter Road during a midweek game to Motherwell. I am hardly Hanlon's biggest fan, but I think Montgomery's record would look slightly better if he had played more often.
scottsdad Posted Tuesday at 19:04 Share Posted Tuesday at 19:04 I don't bother much with teams outside my own, but I will be wishing Hibs well this weekend. I was at the funeral yesterday of a huge Hibs fan, and a lot of the service was about his love of the club. He was at the 2016 cup final, the happiest day of his life. Loads of photos in his montage were about Hibs. So, for him, I'll keep an eye on how you do, wish you well, and will raise a glass to him on Saturday night.

Madness has descended and I'll be at Perth on Saturday. We've still shifted a lot of tickets for what is basically dead rubber to back a team that has misfired for most of the season.
The Other Foot
f**k me, we are bad at the fitba. Good thing it’s the taking part that counts.

I know what response I'll get, but is it really embarrassing for Hibs, who've generally bobbed around mid-table-Championship, to have lost more often than not to us, considering we were one the best teams in the country for around a decade and most of our meetings have likely come in that timeframe? We're past the stage of embarrassment these days, but for our clubs' relative sizes and supports, we should be doing so much better than that.

I still don't understand why the best Hibs 'keeper of the last 25 years wasn't selected for said final. Ross was totally fraudulent.

Saints only release blocks at a time, so unless you have sold out the sections in the main stand, any sections behind the goal, especially furthest away from the main stand will not have been sold. Still, for what I'd essentially a non event for you guys, if you shift anything other than a relative handful, fair play to the hibs fans. I'm probably most concerned about this game than any other from a Saints perspective as you absolutely need to pick something up and I'm guessing Montgomery will both have you guys fired up for his own sake, but equally, players will have a bit of freedom given there is no risk of relegation really.
