PaddyPower have Lennon at 1/5 for the Preston job.

Honestly wouldn't care less if he went for it. He's gonna spend a lot of time in the stands this season anyway since he can't keep his gob shut and is just an angry little cretin of a man. The worst is how all the roasters on .net and the transfer news and HibsPage. on Facebook completely suck up to him

I thought he was a strange appointment at the time but he's completed his brief of getting you back up. Not sure the limelight being on him back in the top flight will be good for him or Hibs in general. Bonus if he pisses off and you get some compo to bring a new manager in imho.

Same fannies who say they wouldn't want Stubbs back.  I would love Lennon to leave, it would mean we wouldn't have to waste money on Bobo Balde to replace John McGinn for instance.

Serious question. I thought Stubbs had to leave Hibs because Mrs Stubbs wasn't happy. If this was true, has anything changed, I.e have they seperated? or will he be telling her....look I've got to work, be it as manager of Hibs or Hawaii.

The rumour was that it was the presence of the physio (who left Hibs at the same time as Stubbs) who was making Mrs Stubbs unhappy. He might still have some issues to resolve in terms of moving back up here, but I think he'd be absolutely relishing the chance to come back. And I would welcome him home with open arms.

ETA - Just seen that .net want Neil 'winning mentality' Lennon to stay, absolute fucking fantasists, the lot of them.

MOTORISTS are being advised to avoid an area of Halbeath Road when resurfacing work starts on Thursday, July 6.

Fife Council will be digging up the tarmac and replacing the section between the roundabout at the Asda store and Pittsburgh Road.

The job will cost around £220,000 and is expected to take three weeks, until Friday July 28.

It’s the second phase of carriageway resurfacing on Halbeath Road, with work last summer upgrading the traffic lights at the Whitefield Road junction and laying a smoother surface from the railway bridge up to the Asda roundabout.

Temporary traffic lights were used and there were major delays but this summer the council will use a contraflow system to allow the traffic to flow more easily.

A spokesman explained: “We’ll shut one side and the other carriageway will have one lane for eastbound traffic and one lane for westbound. When that carriageway is finished, we’ll swap over. This way, there’s always at least one lane open in both directions.”

Bus stops within the works will be closed and signs will direct passengers to the nearest stop.

He added: “The schools will be out for the summer and the college will be finished so hopefully there will be less traffic. But it is a main route through Dunfermline and, while we’re keen to try and keep the traffic flowing as best we can, there will be delays.

“Motorists should try and avoid the area and choose an alternative route if they can.”

just to to give you guys who may be coming through to Dunfermline a wee heads up.

What a man. As close as we'll get to a modern day club legend. He might not be spectacular but he's solid and consistent. We usually get told by others he's going to get roasted by whatever no-mark they have out on the right wing only for Lewy to back pocket them for 90 minutes. Him laughing directly in the face of Stewart in that Derby game is also glorious.

Don't know what his family situation is but there's an inevitability about Stubbs ending up back at Hibs. From his persepective, we're the biggest job he could get at the moment by a country mile and from ours, fans will touting him as their pick every time we have a manager vacancy. Could see it either working or going horribly wrong but it's definitely going to happen at some point, so we may as well just go for it.
