Aye, not like Ayr have ever shifted their own fans to squeeze more **** then is it?

Yup, it's been full several times.

It is too big for us but we've had seasons when we've averaged 10,000+ since it was built, one where we actually had 11 crowds of 10,000+ so it's not as daft a size as some think.

That said, even know with 4,000 odd in it each week it's got a higher % of capacity in it than Ayr could dream of!

Nah, i'll leave that to the Tory boys from Ayr.

Think you've just outed yourself as having an inferiority complex with both your first and second sentence.

Yes 'run' and 'killie' in the same sentence is a common thing I gather. Anyway Ayr has always been AYRshire's premier town. Killie on their hand is only famous for a tv programme about it's lovely residents.

Let's just get back to slagging the towns please. Ayr is famous for voting Tory and having a racecourse. Famous too for Burns but only because of Killie so that doesn't count.

Killie is famous for it's history, architecture, manufacturing, football team, (the most successful town club in Scotland), and education system - Did you know that Kilmarnock is the only town in Scotland and one of only two in the world to have educated 2 Nobel prize laureates including Flemming?. Think of that the next time you get a wee needle related infection.

Everywhere you go in the world you see references to Kilmarnock through our influence and our magnificence.

Ayr has a nice racecourse though.

Yeah the tourists flock to killie pmsl? South AYRShire has all the big attractions. World famous Burns Cottage, 3 world famous golf courses, Scotland's busiest beach, Scotland's 3rd biggest airport , Scotland's biggest air show, Scotland's biggest racecourse, one of Scotland's busiest holiday parks and of course Somerset Park the best terraced stadium left in Scotland home to AYRshire's favourite team.

Killie has a new Tesco[emoji9]
