They've done nothing for years. Now they think there going to rule junior fitba. Unbelievable!! Darvel don't attract the quality that they crave. There competing with the likes of Troon, Medda etc for the same players. This, in my opinion is obviously been done as they've had someone lined up for a while and waited on the 1st possible chance to sack him. Unfortunately for Darvel their facilities are no where near the likes of medda and Troon and also located a good bit away from any major town, so to attract the players they want they'll need to offer a good bit more than the likes of medda and Troon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If hes done that and your sitting where you are in the league then he`s done what he`s been asked to do as far as I can see. If your budget is matched to a certain type/value of player then the level of success that`s possible with these type of players is also set out for you. Regardless of reconstruction, any team that comes from the ADL needs massive investment to make the leap up another division consecutively and your club never done that at the start of the season. And if it`s true that your owner/chairman is only offering half of what they are currently getting paid then they certainly won`t sign, regardless of who the manager is. You know more than me, and yes if they are only getting offered half of what they are on I’m not surprised they are not signing.
