Apart from one genuine approach, my time was somewhat wasted by clubs in/around Glasgow, and Ayrshire. Finally managed to take 2 sessions at very short notice for an amateur club in Glasgow South Side free of charge/ no expense prior to a summer holiday. Have worked alongside some excellent managers previously where pre-season sessions were based on ballwork right from the off - Andy Cunningham, Rab Sneddon, and Willie Paterson. Willing to try again. coach Posted June 1, 2017 Author Share Posted June 1, 2017 I am obliged to the two gentlemen who have left messages for me on this topic. Have returned same but not spoken to either - one of whom is the manager of a Lowland League club, which I did not expect. Can I thank both for taking the time to respond. As I mentioned previously, will leave the situation open for around 2 weeks and see what happenings. I would assume most clubs will start pre-season training around the end of June, and could be interested in their goalkeepers ( signed or trialists) being involved in a couple of sessions at least away from their outfield players. Good to hear from you. Very many thanks for taking the time to post your recommendation about my sessions. Enjoyed them and showed what could be done at short notice.
